Err...Orchi gotta SMS earlier this morning from our very own pretty little BIG BIRD...the message is shocking...

The message says the local council's - building department - is under ACA probe for possible misconducts or something...n its departmental head was escorted out of her office during the ACA investigation...later her departmental office was sealed by ACA...

On further probe...Orchi learns that this is the department where all buildings plannings... constructions or reconstructions' applications n approvals...are processed...ahem...locally

Has anyone heard of this lately?...Has there been any malpractices going on there?...How long has it been going on?...or Would this ACA probe be fruitful?...or Is it going to be another wild goose chase?...Who else is involved?...house owners?...building owners?....contractors?...architects?

Hey Orchi, you are threading on thin ice. Recently, there was a statement in the papers asking people not to do any speculation in any ongoing ACA probe and unless you have firm evidence, that lady who is the head of department will go after you for defamation. Never mind if she is unsuccessful in the end but why spend your time and money defending yourself. If this investigation is reported in the papers, then by all means share the news here.

I contacted senior (by length of service) MPSJ councillor and he immediately rushed to the the scene.

A moment ago, he got back to me saying that nothing seemed to have happened. It's business as usual for now.

We will update again if we have new information.

Big bird from the millenium park? ;)

This rumour appears to be quite credible.

Hmmmm ... not sealed maybe. Just a caution against undue accidental tampering. I think they are after the files, not the person.
