Who is the biggest dengue breeder in Subang Jaya?

The Star Metro found out these:

- Rubbish floats in the stagnant, scum-covered ponds
- Litterbugs on park benches: empty food containers and plastic bags
- Dry taps and garbage-strewn ditches
- Public toilet thick with nauseating urine stench

Millennium Park is now spelt LLEN PARK.

The once Ahmad Fuad 2002 golden bird statue is now a drab grey.

Net net, you lose RM3 million in just three years.

Err...one of the biggest breeding ground for aedes mosquitos is where the abandoned building is standing at USJ 1 and USJ 2...The Summit junction...the whole unfinished RC foundation for the underground carparks...has turned into an olympic size swimming n breeding pool for the mosquitos....

Ahem...Oh BTW...the steel foundation of the towering crane is completely submerged in water...n it is eroding faster than PCYeoh loosing his hair to baldness... ;) :D :D

Guys
An opportunity for driving home the need for accountability has presented itself .... game or not ??

Organise a protest at the LLEN ( thks Jeff ) PARK with a slow walk after that to the MPSJ CCC. Get the press involved. Objective is to drive home the following issues that MPSJ has to answer for :
(1) Account for what it builds using public money ( this topic, in the context of the LLEN PARK, is a little dated but can be revived, if the message hits home )
(2) Subsequent lack of maintenance and disrepair
(3) Being one of the biggest contributors of dengue breeding ground
(4) Allowing the MPSJ CCC vicinity to degenerate into a haven for bad hats (refer the thread on MPSJ CCC )

Dont expect the MPSJ boys to sit up and listen after that .... old habits die hard....right? But I always believe that a pedigree dog can be coaxed with gentle persuasion. A mongrel will not undertand soft approaches. These mongrels only understand a tough stance.
If there is anything that they detest it is the feeling that they do not look good in the media.
Hey, man, coming to think of it, our politicians arent very different either.

I was in fact very happy that the Millenium Park issue appeared on the paper!

It is truly an eye sore for one who drives past it. Compare it to the flower beds at the traffic light in front of MPSJ!! What a huge contrast! One is so well-maintained and the other one is left to rot away! And what a waste of money to build the monstrous big bird! It really doesn't look nice. I don't know what happened to the eye sight of the person who approve the project!

Now, the big bird no longer looks shiny and golden. So much of weeds growing around it!

I hope the news will wake MPSJ up from their slumber and make them take some initiative to beautify it....probably with flowers from the flower bed in front of MPSJ!! ;) Or some lights to make it attractive at nite. And make sure someone keep the place clean too! That'd be loooove....ly!!!

Lets see..lights, beautify it, maintain it...well that will cost MPSJ say RM1million,maybe RM2million...initiative..strange word..no amount of money can buy it for them to be intiative..maybe they should make a statue of the guy who had this built, so that birds can come by and park there for awhile and do their thing  love to see that, at least we know which fool spend all this money.

So who should summon MPSJ for having dengue breeding ground at thei property?? come on MSPJ enforcement unit, summon your counter part in landscaping or the chief of MPSJ for it..lets see some action and make sure it comes out of their own pocket not tax payers money..sorry another dream like you guys taking initiative

The statue would have to be of my favourite comedian then, ( Datuk now ) Ahmad Fuad Ismail.

If local councils get fined for breeding aedes mosquitoes, guess who pays? US

Another 'fine' way to get their budgets into deficit, thus having reasons to increase our future cukai pintu!

and probably to waste it on another grandiose project....

btw, my fav ex ADUN is presently very upset ~ mebbe because he's gonna miss the belly dancing thingy...(that he was gonna pay with "his" own money.... ) so he probably got no time la with MPSJ punya hal (at the moment!)
