I always wonder if there are a lot of ppl trying to back up their information stored in their handphones. While I know of ppl who always complaint how troublesome it is to restore or key in all the contact numbers that they have into their phone or even how they can't keep in touch because they can't remember the numbers of some ppl when they lost their phone, they don't realise the most logical step to take is to back up the information in your phone if it really matters that much to you.

I guess the question here is "Do you back up your phone info?" and if you don't "Why?"

Just food for thought. What do you think?

One way I know is to backup the phone address book to a PDA using the infra-red communication channel. However, you will need to own a PDA and both the phone and PDA has to be IR enabled.

Another way is simpler - store the data on the SIM chip rather than in the phone memory. With that, when you change phones, just put the SIM into the new phone. No hassles. However, if you lose the phone, you lose the SIM card too ..... sigh :( Go get a PDA then :)

To create a poll,
first go to the channel where you wish to post a poll
Then click on start a new thread
When the window for editing appears, go to the bottom of the window and find the options to set up a poll.

Note that you can only start a poll with a new thread.
Good luck

Once a while, when I expected a boring management meeting, I would bring a piece of paper or my diary to copy down all the phone no on it.

It would be seem that I am busy taking notes or so many SMS coming in :D
