KH, let's not get distracted of a blogger's mission.

The link that I have on the Screenshots frontpage was the one given by Phil of <a href="http://www.flyingchair.net">Flyingchair.net</a>, someone who I knew when we both blogged on SARS in 2003.

He asked that I list his Award icon on my blogsite. But somehow, despite having deployed much stricter polling criteria and manual deletion of suspected spam polling, he has also confessed that by holding the so-called blog award, he has been accused of creating visitor traffic to his blogsite and thereby, uncannily boosting his prominence in the page-ranking of Search Engines.

That's the drift I understand from him.

jeff, point noted but the readers do have a choice if they decide to vote. :) maybe it's more ethical if simon (http://simonworld.mu.nu/archives/056973.php) were to email all nominated blogs for them to link up to the Asia Blog Awards 2004.

he has been accused of creating visitor traffic to his blogsite...

no wonder simon (http://simonworld.mu.nu/archives/056973.php) wrote this:- "Following Phil's successful efforts last year with the 2003 Asian Blog Awards, he has graciously passed the honour of hosting this year's event to me.
