the price should be reasonable as cherry cars will be in the m'sian market late 2005/early 2006 but the additional cost of airbag/s, rear seatbelts mentioned here:-

This new kancil looks like "kancil+kelisa". It looks nicer than the old kancil and kelisa, with its nice shape. Will go n have a peep when it launch.. :p

No Janet, it's almost identical to the new MIRA. It's Produa Copycat, not Kancil.

Daihatsu is significant shareholder in Perodua..this is going to be the base for Daihatsu in Asean..so you will see more of Daihatsu types of cars under the Perodua label in Msia or till they decide to change Perodua to Daihatsu Msia.BTW Toyota is one of Daihatsu shareholders in Japan thus Avanza is assembled in Msia by Perodua.
