I happen to be around CNS last sunday and was craving for their hot steaming spicy Nasi Lemak.
I was charged Rm8 for a ayam, telur and Nasi Lemak!
The worst thing was the Nasi Lemak was already cold and they are now SelfServing near the entrance!
The crowd was a few and I think the business going bad! :(
It used to be crowded. The food hot and delicious but expensive.
They dont even have sotong now!

their name eludes me! by having this name means that they must serve roti canai 24/7 but no... also prices r expensive (plus govt. tax), canai is tasteless, gravy is **** (no need to be censored by the forum engine)
I know Ravi the owner when he had a stall under a tree in SS14, 20years ago..he was very popular, on weekends there used to be long Qs ..and then one day he decided to go to Singapore to seek his fortune to sell his pratha roti.
Thats where he amassed his wealth, he returned and soon opened many outlets around SJ,Sunway and the Gazebo...good for him.
But of late I have kept myself away from his restaurant near my Hse, SS14..the quality and price has put me off.
It's only a matter of time before this shop would tapau cos the new opening of another mamak shop 'Bistro" in the corner is drawing in the crowds.
i was there on my second trip last week, customer wants to have tt in an 'exclusive' joint!! i had a 'cold' 'hard-like-rock' roti canai and my customer had a plain thosai plus 1 tt and 1 nexcafe. paid a whopping rm8.60 for it.
i can't seem to understand all the fuss about this place. no wonder they are loosing customers to sri melur behind them in droves!!

Heh, I remember the good old colleges days when we would take the cab from Sunway College to Ravi's for roti canai, which was good then. Nowadays, I hardly ever go, the one at the square's filthy while the one at Canai N Such's really expensive.
Let's just say, those buddies whom I've gone for supper with in college, has since been converted to either totally don't take supper kind ( myself included) or those that takes a different kind of supper these days.

Canai and Such 的食物很贵,尤其是Sunway Resort Hotel 前面那一档,刚开始还
很多人为了气氛去吃,现在有时我经过看到一个人都没有,哈哈。
Canai and Such food is very expensive, especially the stall in front of Sunway Resort Hotel, just started got many peoples to eat in particular for the atmosphere, now sometimes I pass through saw all did not have even a single people, ha ha.

Noticed the emergence of "franchise" mamak store; ie CanaiNSuch, Sri Melor, Tanjung, etc. This "Big" boys are now walloping the small mamak stalls. It would be a matter of time the Gomen will step in to regulate this rapid expansion of mamak branches.
Good case example: Hypermarket vs Pop's N Mom's store.
Some time ago, I thought mcD was expanding to every residential corner, today you see the same with this bistro mamaks.

Not to mention Kayu NK, another expensive joint! Cold curries included, with or without poppadams or vege = same price, discount? don't even think if it!
