How To Erase E-mail Account

Hi,

I have a few Hotmail and Yahoo e-mail addresses and I would like to close some of them permanently.

I had gone into Mail Options but there is nothing on Termination of Account.

Please advice how to go about.

I got 4 yahoo accounts because of my website and 2 hotmail accounts.

Cant do anything other leave them dormant.

It's very simple,just follow this steps.

YAHOO!

(1) When you logged-in your Yahoo! Mail,click HELP on your far top right (above the SIGN OUT) .

(2) Click "Access and Security" under 'Using My Yahoo! Mail Account' section.

(3) Click "How do i close my account" under 'Exiting' section.

(4) Click "Account Deletion" at 6th Section (To remove your entire account, please visit our Account Deletion page.)

(5) Enter your password & click YES/TERMINATE THIS ACCOUNT. (Don't press ENTER as it won't worked,instead uses click to submit.)

HOTMAIL

(1) When you logged-in your Yahoo! Mail,click HELP on your far top right.

(2) A new windows will pop-up..Type "Close your account" in search box.Click "Close your account" in result page.

(3) Click "go to the Close Account page" then switch back to your main windows and click "Close My Account".

Yes, I followed your advice and had a few of my extra a/c closed for good.
