Subang Mandarin Toastmasters Club is organizing its yearly Speechcraft Programme.

Speechcraft is a short and funfilled course from Toastmasters International that helps people develop public speaking skills.
This programme is conducted once a year by Subang Mandarin Toastmasters Club for adults from the ages of 18+.

The registration is limited to 10 participants on a first-come-first-served basis.
Date : 4th Apr, 11th Apr, 18th Apr, 25th Apr & 2nd May 2017 every Tuesday from 7.45pm-10pm
Time : 7.30pm-10pm
Venue : AMPM Café. 11A, Jln Usj 21/5, 47630 Subang Jaya. (Adjacent to Main Place Shopping Mall)

Fee : RM190 for Toastmasters member & RM290 for non-member.

Note : This course will be conducted in Mandarin and registration is opened to all students at all proficiency levels: from Beginner to Proficient.

Toastmasters International (TI) is a nonprofit educational organization that operates clubs worldwide for the purpose of helping members improve their communication, public speaking, and leadership skills.

I find it very expensive when you not even organise it in a posh hotel what more it is a non profit eduacational organisation.

if it was truly as an ngo to 'serve'...heck! U can can organise it in any MPSJ community Hall for almost free! Or under a shady tree in any of the green park/playground dotting SJ, USJ and some say P.Hts
What is so difficult to practise speaking on anything, any subject from that wrinkled fallen leaf, to a dried up lump of a big dog's poo ..or even that cottony cloud afloating up wonder...:confused::confused:
2.5hr for RM290/non member? Wahlau weh...:eek:

For the price at RM290 where you can practice toasting in English with Bottoms Up, Tani round table treetop, Yam Seng in Canto Pop, Kan Peh in Mandarin Duckling Sumore, i think they would be serving tits bits like ikan bilis, kacang putih nuts to strengthen your oral speechcraft exercise too. Apa u mau lagi? :mua-haha:

In my clubhouse, the members of the toastmaster club paid peanuts like RM15 for all nite long in Lionel Itchy style where they get foodies like CKT, nuggets, sausages but no holy spirit or whisky water.....you pay peanuts, you just get to monkey around with English speeches but no holy baptism where you speak in tongues. :heheheh:
