Curious. Why the need to close the thread? Can't it be left open? This is not the first time someone ask to close a thread. Look, I have nothing against anyone for asking threads to be closed. But why?

Just a norm practiced is some Forums.....usually request when the OP has 'achieved the objective'......or no longer plans to 'support' the Thread with more input for what ever reason.

Owner found

In my effort to find the owner, I have asked my daughter to post this in her Facebook while I posted it here. I also informed the 4 guards to direct anyone looking for the missing dog to my house. Meanwhile I also took a stroll in the surrounding area to see if anyone was looking for their lost dogs.

Around 11.15pm, I received a call from home that a young couple was brought to my house by the security guard to claim the 2 dogs. What surprises me is that there was no thank you. And here I am worried sick about the 2 dogs.

In the thread where I posted that I have found the 2 lost dogs, this is the response I got. I noticed that some people after having solve their problem by the community do not have the courtesy to thank let alone update us.

Maybe is better not to hope so..

The cute dog may run away from the house for the reason it knows best !!

Just like the maid run away from house.. who knows.

I notice those who come here to find this find that, or to ask this ask there ---> They are the people who have never replied to others who are seeking help or advice...

Once they got the answer/help they are looking for, they disappear and until the next time when they need help/advice again..

Unfortunately, this happened a few times.:( That is right. It's like please close the thread Mr Moderator. I'm done. My problem is solved. Your comments, further advice/help is not necessary and a waste of my precious time.

Then again .... if the thread is closed, I will never be able to add this line. (not that it added anything to its original purpose). :D

Seriously though, perhaps its about closure. It isn't like there is much to discuss about a missing dog which was eventually found. *shrug* so ..... might as well close it. Maybe to prevent necroposting?

Can't complain, dude, won't complain! There was a time when I was here like .... every other day? *lol*♪ Those were the days, my friend. ♫ I can 'see' Naka nodding his head in agreement while reminiscing the days of yore. Anyways, it is great to see you again. I'm hoping you would stay longer this time. :D
