When you have politicians, no matter age, they play politics and can rile people up.
Really got better things and issues to think of than their games. They are not there to put food on my table. They at liberty to choose to be such and play the game at people's expense.
Nothing more to say.

As I told you in other thread, they are exempted from wrongdoings. Their supporters won't think this state public holiday is wrong. Always remember these fellas in pakatan do things (even it is something wrong) for the greater good, bigger picture and long-term goals...

Imagine if other state decalare public holiday to faciliate by-election. This forum will be full of you-knwo-what comments.. !! ;)

Btw, Singapore did not announce public holiday when LKY passed away. I guess this speak volume in terms of good governance (or the lack of it) in this pakatan state...

Before by-election

Now, during by-election ... ;)

My last advice before your children/grandchildren blame you in not too far future...

I'm just blardi appalled at the language used in some standup ceramah.
Someone have the gall, the nerve and the audacity to tell people not to bite back the hand that feed you. To me its a threat to voters and to insult them.
This is the gutter level of Malaysian politics that some people resort to threats, don't matter subtle or indirect. Its this very kind of mindset will turn Malaysia into a HOPELESS COUNTRY and will always lag behind the competition!
You don't need just "The Corrupt". You need all these kind of mindsets to bring this country to HOPLESSNESS! Very low and antiquated mentality. Never ever progress..

Yes that is my logic...
No... those who vote for dummno don't necessary agree with corruption... 45% of the country agree with corruption?
It the same as voting for PAS don't necessary need to agree with hudud...

all candidates have it stands on a number of issues... one don't need to agree on all the stand in order to vote for em...

As you correctly pointed out, those 47% who voted dummno don't necessary agree with corruption and one doesn't need to agree on all stand in order to vote for them.

Good luck to the 47% and also good luck to the 52.9% in this country.. ;)

For your reading pleasure.... http://www.mysinchew.com/node/108540

Quoted : " The fiasco surrounding the cancellation of "The Thirst 2015: We Are All Stardust" is yet to come to a close. The organizers have to refund all the 3,000 tickets sold while seeing the millions of ringgit they have dumped into the concert preparation evaporate. The concert has received earlier approval from the MPSJ, but because of a protest letter from PAS' Seri Serdang assemblyman Noor Hanim Ismail on the excuse of objections from local residents. Noor Hanim Ismail is the state assemblyman for Seri Serdang while the concert venue is in Seri Kembangan. If there is any problem with the concert, it should be the responsibility of Seri Kembangan state assemblyman Ean Yong Hian Wah or Serdang MP Ong Kian Ming. Protesting the concert without consulting these two elected reps is a blatant act of overstepping the authority of these two reps that will only tarnish the image of the Pakatan state government. "

Quoted : " Can we deduce that the intervention by the PAS rep has signaled the infiltration of radical Islamic thoughts into the Selangor state administrative system? Given the strong religious intervention in administration, how are we going to convince the international community that we are indeed a moderate secular state ? "

Allow me to put forward a passing thought.
Did you know that a simple and somewhat conclusive perception of some individual as in " Dia orang baik or He is a good man" is very loose and vague when summing up somebody? If many happen to perceive this way, you're in for disappointment.
Baik or good doesn't equate to great ability or potential for administration and governance. An individual who may be a pious man or incorruptible all his/her life is no guarantee of being a good administrator in office. A good performing minister of some Ministry is no guarantee he'd make a great Prime Minister in future.
Baik or good in when summing up a son-in-law or daughter in law doesn't guarantee he/she will behave great in future.
The future is always untold. Unfortunately, its become utter disappointment in the last remaining years of my life here.

Quoted : " There have been signs showing Islamisation over the past few years after Pakatan Rakyat taking over Selangor and the rights and freedom of non-Muslims have been gradually invaded. The ban for the sale of alcohol in TCM shops is just the latest move, while other cases include requiring all premises selling alcohol beverages in Shah Alam to put up stickers, brochures and posters containing information and guidelines on the sale alcoholic beverages; while the annual Oktoberfest event was forced to be held at a parking lot. Chinese voters who had voted for Pakatan Rakyat should have not expected that so many measures unfavourable to non-Muslims would actually be introduced in the state. "

Quoted : " And now, PAS' brand new ulama leadership is relaying a very strong message to Pakatan Rakyat and all of Malaysia, that Hadi Awang has thumped his challenger Ahmad Awang with an astoundingly high support rate of 80%, and all pro-Pakatan leaders have been washed out in the party elections. From the presidency to vice presidency, the Youth to Wanita, all key posts have been swept by candidates with clerical backgrounds. This insurmountable force is set to expedite the implementation of hudud ..."

The DAP has actually contributed a lot in the parliamentary seats and state seats of PAS ;). PAS was able to gain 30% of non-Muslim support in the election, as the DAP put in a good word for it during the election campaign. As Lim Kit Siang said, without the 20% votes of non-Muslims, PAS could only get 5 instead of 15 state seats in Selangor, 1 instead of 5 in Perak, 5 instead of 9 in Kedah, 2 instead of 3 in Pahang, none instead of 1 in Malacca, and none instead of 4 in Johor !!

Not sure what is the next move of DAP ??

So the so religious IS chief considered good guy?. The monk of Myanmar that staged demo are good people?. The priest that warned the new convert for not wearing traditional costume for his father's funeral rite good people?. Very kepala pening how to define people as good or bad.

As one artist pointed out not long ago, it voiced down to stupid policy. Sending not so smart students to study religion in so called religious schools abroad ( unstable and war torn countries ) would only bring back unsuitable ideologies to Malaysia. This is the consequences that the gov would surely deny. As a result, these graduates join religious parties, head religious bodies with power to dictate the life of ordinary people. What will happen next ?... just imagine and we are sure heading towards the ME situation if unchecked.
