I posted this more than a week ago when my membership for this forum was graciously approved by the moderator.

We strongly recommend the {Admin note - brand name removed} brand of mattresses and pillows for they are scientifically designed and manufactured and they form a contour to your body shape as you sleep and will return back to its normal shapes when you are not lying on them. It is very "supporting" and gave us very good sleep for many years now - we have changed only once in the last 12 years....

It cost slightly more... the mattress is slightly more than RM12,000 (for King Size) and pillow about RM1,000 each.... but considering you spend more time on bed recuperating your day than in your car, it is worth paying RM14,000 than RM140,000 for your Accord....

I am surprised even the moderator jumped on the bandwagon and insinuated likewise by removing a link to a product. What kind of moderator is this to simply make hurtful insinuations and biased comments based on one opinion from another forumer?

I just posted another link elsewhere to a forum in Singapore introducing a Malaysian-invention of a herbal drugs called Teh Misai Kucing so they can read more of the product as they were talking/discussing about natural herbs for gout, diabetes and high blood pressure but I don't get such silly insinuations and accusations.

Why is this forum treating people like this especially coming from the moderator who is supposed to be open-minded and act fair?

Just because I posted 5 times the link, he thinks I am promoting the business... it was simple because it was my first posting in this forum and I kept testing it to see why it took one week and still I cannot post.

What kind of moderator is this with this kind of intimidating and unfriendly attitude?

In case you are stuck, here are some handy tips :

- Don’t write lengthy post for the 1st few posts
- Don’t attach a web link for the 1st few posts
- Is good to start with a few words, short sentence in those subforums like “cari makan”..
- Copy what you want to post to MS Word. You can easily re-post them (if the post has been withheld) a few days later.

RM14,000 for a mattress although is not ultra-expensive but certainly is beyond the budget of most of these so-called "middle class" folks in SJ/USJ. RM1,000 for a pillow will also scare most of them away..

If this is an advertisement, I think this is a wrong place for this TEMPUR advertisement.

Btw, I used the TEMPUR pillow before. Not bad but is still not my favorite, the contour of the pillow is not a "match-for-all". I still prefer a hypoallergenic latex pillow.

This is how I run the Forum and why must I do what the other forums do?

Firstly, your post was withheld ...not because of those points given by Nadler. That is not how it works. i believe the anti-spamming application detected a first-timer posting a hyperlink. I believe the algorithm of that application is set to moderate all first timer posts that put up a hyperlink...that act is usually the modus operandi of spammers.

One of our rules is already explicitly given to you in the acceptance email and it is highlighted in RED. If I think you are advertising a product, I will remove you. That was why Naka said to be thankful that you are still able to post...because I could have executed my first warning given in the acceptance email - which is that i will remove the userid if there is an attempt to solicit for business. If I think you were advertising, I will just remove you...no questions asked or reasons given. That is the first rule i inform all newbies.

Now, I do not know the intention of anyone and I am not about to check all those possibilities of a good intention to share a product. I can only work on a guess. If my guess is wrong, then I am wrong. My apologies because I can be wrong, I am imperfect.

And by the way, we also disallow anyone to disturb the peace. In the past, some members have been removed on that ground. You may have been one of them? We don't know. To me every userid on the Forum is an individual and I moderate on the premise of obeying the rules and protecting the Forum. It is as simple as that.

That is strictly PM material.

A long time ago, someone whose family member fell and hurt his back asked for medical reference at this forum. I could not remember the actual name of the doctor so I went through a lot of trouble to google and get the contact only to have the entire post deleted by the moderator for whatever reason it was that he deemed fit. As was to be expected, I hit the roof. More because the moderator had misconstrued my good intention. But that is how it works here. A few weeks later, another member asked for medical reference for a tooth condition. Other members gave a direct link to a certain doctor. That link was not removed.

I'm not suggesting that the moderator is biased. He probably overlook the second thread. He "encourage" members to "report" such threads to his attention. (He loved deleting links. Only men of great power have the ability to do that. :D)

So my advice. ====> If you wish to recommend anything good, use the PM. If your PM box is not enough to meet your needs, pester the Mighty Mod.

Or you can try the ingenious method proposed by Rhiga. (Eg. I recommend the mattress that starts with D and ends with O and you can get a 90% discount if you go to the shop between the green sushi place and the finger licking good place.

Yeah, I can see the power of the mod in this forum... it is all up to him...
