I attended last week Oktoberfest event organized by Carlsberg Malaysia. The venue has been "relocated" from the OneUtama's forecourt which is a ground floor open air car park to the mall's old wing level 4 indoor car park !!

This article says it all …. http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/sideviews/article/pakatan-leaders-protesting-own-state-over-oktoberfest-ban-tay-tian-yan

This is my 1st experience drinking beer in an enclosed and badly ventilated car park !! Maybe Munich should send somone to Selangor and record this unique Octoberfest, one of its kind in this planet !!

The last time I checked Selangor was still run by PR and DAP still have the highest aduns in the state assembly, no ??

What is next ?? Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in an underground basemen car park !!

Why do they have to give face to betray? Why do they have to change venue!

Blame your loud mouth nationalists and so called "defenders of the faith" flers for all the fiasco. Not surprising there may be more loose cannons sprouting out in the near future, thinking what they should lord over you and "holier than thou" attempts. THEY WILL SPOIL THIS COUNTRY further.. Look at places somewhere north of India..those countries are now SPOILT and FAILED NATIONS! Being super devout ain't going to address COL and put food on your table. This apply to everyone of any faith. I too do not partake in any alcohol..what others do or to their peril ain't my business..You wanna drink, go ahead..I ain't answerable for your doing or peril.
I'm sure dear Tunku Abdul Rahman never wanted this land to be like this. Sad!

Congratulations for voting BN! Hope you will be enjoying the increased BR1M from RM650 to RM950 per year. I am sure its more than enough to pay for your increase in RON95 petrol price which was increased by 20 sen per litre despite world price of Light Sweet Brent Oil down to below USD84 per barrel:

If you pump a full tank 3 times a month assuming it is a standard 60-litre tank, you will pay RM12.00 more per tank x 36 tanks which totals only RM432.00... yet you have a BR1M of RM950... am happy that you will be happy...

And meantime, the 20 sen increase per litre of RON95 will increase your rice, veggies, fishes, prawns, eggs, and everything else... not to forget in 6 months add 6% GST to almost everything...

Thanks for voting BN and thanks to people like you, the rest of us will also enjoy the same benefits... if not we will not get these kind of "benefits" like BR1M...

Do you know the real power of incumbency? Especially with MCA, Gerakan and MIC always echoing support even for unprincipled moves...?

This is a free world, you can vote anything you like. Just don’t complain when people call you pendatang, penceroboh, pelacur, pemabuk..………

Although I despise some of those fellas, but I have huge respect for Lim Kit Siang and other DAP veterans..

Ok, enough for politics. I started this thread for Octoberfest, if you have attended the car park Octoberfest and have something to share, you are welcomed..

The October Fest is just a start, if we take it lightly, soon there will be no more Halloween, Valentine or even Christmas.
Before 505, they told me PAS is just 1/3 in PR, they are not the decision maker, but based on the MB crisis & October Fest, the result tell it otherwise.
It is time for us to say NO to religious & race based politics, use our vote to force PR to abandon PAS.

We all know that PAS political philosophy final goal is to form Islamic state, to manage the country based on Islamic teaching, if this is not accepted by PR then the only reason for PR to include PAS as alliance is just trying to use their political influences, this is not healthy at all. That's why I suggest PR to form political alliance only with political parties that share the same value system, that against religious & race based politic.

Why is MCA. MIC, Gerakan sailing on the same boat as UMNO? Didn't Dr Mahathir once declared Malaysia was an Islamic country? Why then still "row, row your boat gently down the stream" with UMNO?

We are all operate by our own value system, this value system guide us on what we take it as right and what is wrong. To share the same value system or atleast to have some common value does not mean to be same in thinking and doing, just to be on the same side when we judging right or wrong, or you can say to have same moral value. For example, each parties may have different opinion on who should be the next MB, they can sit down and discuss it, but one of the party insist that female to be excepted, no matter how qualify she is, that is what I called conflict of value system.

Can't you see? They do share the same value system, which is often they just tell you frankly that is "to share power" and we all know the unavoidable side effect which is "to be prosperous".
They all have same goal and mindset so there is no conflict in their value system.

That female candidate is not just any other female candidates, ma'am.... that female candidate happens to be the wife of one of the most feared man by Putrajaya... and have you ever thought that that rejection of the female candidate by PAS was actually rejection-by-proxy of Putrajaya who has "infiltrated" PAS?

Remember when PAS President was hospitalized for heart ailment in an Istanbul hospital in Turkey? What did Najib do then? And when he came back and transferred into IJN?

So what is the difference with DAP, PKR and PAS wanting to wrest this power off the hands of those who are in power? You're no more discussing values here, these are not values. These people are having the same objectives i.e. the intention to have power and share the gravy train.

Read the news reports on the goings-on in Gerakan AGM today, they share same values? Then why do they criticise UMNO on the pendatang issue? Or Najib criticising Chinese voters in front of Gerakan? Same values?

The point is, we want to create a PR that is different than BN, if they are the same then why bother change?

As for Mah & Najib, they just do what they do same as all other BN leaders did for the past 56 years, this is how their system works and it is all align with their value system.

Is ok, I was also guilty for accidentally/unintentionally derailed/digressed/deviated other thread topics before.... :p

Let me add something non-politics here..

I knew it was a beer-drinking event in a blardy freaking car park but I still went...

Not because of the cheap beer or the German blonde-wannabe, it is because of Carlsberg !!

For the past 27 years , Carlsberg Malaysia has organized annual fund-raising event for Chinese school. Until today, RM400 million has been raised and had benefited 600 Chinese schools.

Each time I drink beer especially Carlsberg beer, I know I am doing something good ... :heheheh: :heheheh:

p/s : Your 1gomen only allocate Rm50 million to ALL chinese schools nationwide.. xf%#xx

Hello!, that is CHINA..this is Malaysia.. you can have all the fun you want in other lands...its now become controversial with "holier than thou" and "must LORD OVER YOU" flers living here just can't resist kicking up a fuss here. Malaysia wasn't like this a few decades ago. This place have become not what was envisioned by our 1st PM or those who brokered for Merdeka.
I'm just reckoning, its not going to stop here, there may be more fuss kicked up and "lord over you" by people who DO NOT HAVE THE BEST INTERESTS of state affairs in future... Best is to choose to ignore them and get on with your lives as usual. There are more pressing issues directly affecting all people desiring a better quality of life, buying a decent house, addressing upward Cost of Living issues and Price Inflation. THESE ARE MOST important to your well being, meanwhile EARN MORE to keep up...very little choice left. For those who've already made it.. my best wishes, my thumbs up and hope you try to help and encourage those who aren't as clever or fortunate as you who already made it.

Yes, because whatever or hoever bizarre fun is an obvious trend at other lands OUT of Malaysia in this case. More and more events thats viewed as offensive or disrespectful here will be met with resistance from certain quarters here.
Just like that nudism fiasco, another petty issue sensationalized by the media, then goes to political level and all for nothing.
People feel some event, party or a private affair and is ok, but there are quarters to say its wrong and its offensive, so how? go pick a fight with them? I just wonder what next and a fuss be kicked up.
