Hello everyone,
I am in dire need of advice on where to put my kids to school now since i am planning to leave Taiwan at the end of the year. My son is about to enter Form2, and daughter Std5. My son has been in international school fron Std 1 up until now. My daughter on the other hand has been in chinese school. My original plan was to move to singapore so that my son can continue his english medium education but i am not so sure about my daughter's chinese education. She doesnt read englsih well, and he doesnt read chinese well. Both don't know malay.

I am wondering now, are there are schools in KL/PJ that is suitable for my son, stressing more on english medium. Pls dont suggest int'l school as i am no longer able to afford it. I am sure my daughter can get into any chinese-medium school without much problem. Both are M'sian passport holders, so i'm sure they can be accepted into public schooling.

If anyone of you know which school might be suitable for my son, pls let me know. I dont hv too much time left to decide as i hv to arrange for housing and so on b4 i move back to KL/PJ. If there is no suitable school in KL then i might still hv to consider S'pore for him, where my sister will be able to help make arrangements for me.
Hope someone out there has some ideas. :) tks....
Deb.

You may try enrolling your son in Sri KL in Subang Jaya. As for your daughter, you may enroll her in a Chinese medium school. In Sri KL, they are already teaching Science and Maths in English. I am sure your son will be able to pick up Bahasa in no time if you get someone to coach him in Bahasa. Let me know if you want me to check any further information for you.

Thank you so much for your reply. I hv just checked into Sri KL and was happy to notice it's in SJ too. I think i will definitely hv to get a tutor for my son and daughter too for BM. I think somehow chinese schools are much easier to find.

Deb :)

Dear Chofmy,
Thank you so much for info on Sri Sedaya. Looks like my options are greater than i first thought. I looked into their school website and noticed it's also in SJ. Amazing how much SJ/USJ has developed since i last left M'sia. I sure hv a lot of catching up to do.
House/apartment hunting is the next step. Whether to rent or purchase, is still not decided at the moment. Any advice is most welcome :)

Once again, Thank you so much :)

Deb
