Sunway Construction is lengthening the supporting structure for Station 8 near USJ 6. Work started this morning and will be completed at 4.00 pm today. Drive through at your own risk!

Consider as there'll be a lot more seemingly hazardous works going on till project completion... then who knows...maybe falling drink cans, cigarette butts, bits and pieces falling down on cars or pedestrians after operational... :heheheh: Expect the unexpected! (already people can throw rubbish from somewhere 20th floor and land on roof canopy at 1st floor..cowboy country mah!)

Its not interesting.... its nearly always like this when huge projects are under-way with huge liability and risk to traffic and general public. They say only safety first...on the sign boards..but reality is another thing. Mostly blardi foreign workers from 5th world countries who are not cultured with safety first in mind and practice. Its cheap labor and they're not answerable to anything that happen. People got not much choice in this land..risk injury or death knocking at your door anytime due to circumstances that can be properly monitored and controlled. When something goes awry, see how they scramble to do damage control!..nothing happen? semua ok...thats how it is here.
YOU JUST PRAY NOTHING HAPPEN TO YOURSELF OR FAMILY!..In this land you're basically on your own despite all sorts of risks lurking around, even withdrawing 50 bucks from ATM or a lady carrying their usual handbag.

According to our USJ6RA chairman, Sunway construction was not supposed to work on Sundays and also during the day to avoid inconvenience to the public. The contractor was supposed to get a permit to divert traffic...but the supervisor sheepishly said they didn't apply for any! This is "Malaysia Boleh!" in the negative sense. You should watch the top section of the crane shake as it swings back and forth. It is held upright via two iron bars secured each by a large bolt I saw the crane operator insert into the joint between the main arm and the extension.

In the picture I inserted in this thread the arm of the crane was still over the road when they allowed traffic to pass underneath it!

No action would be taken if NO MISHAP happens..... this is Malaysia la.... Land of ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES......

And if a MISHAP does happen.... well, if misfortune happened to En. NONAMA ..... it will be forgotten in a shorter span of time by the authorities.... like the last few fellas that got squashed @ incidents at Subang highway stretch and at the Federal Highway stretch....

BUT.... if the unfortunate fella happened to be a DATO... or better yet, a TAN SRI.... you bet your last ringgit - heads will roll....
