Silly fellas. Better use the money to develop kangkung cultivation. If kangkung can become the Malaysian staple food there will be no more hardship. :D

Dunno what to say anymore when it comes to sense of priorities and no wonder this land GOES NOWHERE!
Only the DEAD don't have to contend, accept or tolerate anymore nonsense that go on time after time.

Wondering what is Universiti Malaysia Terengganu researching there? How to make ice kacang from glacier ice?

Well, at one time, they had thought consuming roti canai in space was something doable. How about char kway teow next or wanton mee? Already Nasi Kandar is consumed 30,000 ft above...

I think they have a plan to reverse the effects of the thinning of the ozone layer. Or they plan to drop the procord onto antartica. Wondering what happnened to the one dropped there earlier?

Seriously, which local university has made any ground breaking research over the last few years?

Amazing... they can’t solve the simple flood problem in Trengganu brought by the predictable yearly monsoon, but they want to contribute in solving global climate change.. !!

I believe among these apanama “delegates” to Antarctica, some of them can’t differentiate between vapor, condensate and dew... some may not hear of Kelvin scale before and none of them know what is the absolute temperature measured by the Kelvin scale..

In the world of red-ass monkeys, a chimpanzee is the genius..

Charity begins at home. They should save the country first before venturing to save the world. There is nothing more noble than that. ;-)

This is where I'll never ever understand any of apanama logic. IF is of any logic either.. Got countless domestic issues that remain unsolved, apanama wanna address or explore matters way beyond them... NO CONFIDENCE AT ALL!..ZERO!

Ask them to produce better graduates first so that whatever they construct or build does not collapse. Elementary stuff also cannot take care want to solve the worlds problems. Anyway its a shiok sendiri trip.

That one was a Waja dropped over the Artic. Another "achievement" was a parachute drop at South Pole on 1/1/2000 but missed the target by a few hundred km. Still claimed to have done it till some Singaporean Malaysian who was actually at the pole spilled the beans. Such is Bolehland's record in polar expeditiions.

Maybe some political headliner could be. "STOP WASTING TAX PAYER'S MONEY!...SOLVE LOCAL ISSUES 1ST!"

Heard the Waja that drop over the Artic just to create Malaysian made car was spectacular but the car could not start as the engine oil was frozen.

And the guy who organized the whole scam is now Executive Chairman of Tabung Haji - managing billions in pilgrims' fund and probably earning a million more per year excluding bonuses...

If they want to go on a holiday paid for by taxpayers the least they could do is upfront about it. Instead they insult our intelligence with a grandfather story about some cockamimie research.

One need to fly to Santiago in Chile then take a connecting flight to another city port at the southern tip of the country / of the south American continent and from there charter an icebreaker ship to take you to Antartica... I think your PM Tun Mahathir went with a whole entourage...

Ten years ago, Coca-Cola organized a world wide public relations exercise to have its executives worldwide sent to Antartica to clean up the surface of rubbish left behind and I submitted my bid but was not even shortlisted... my colleague from Singapore represented SEA Office....

They will bring along a container of their usual apanama food and drinks. However, please do not under-estimate them..... They have a unique advantage than any civilized human being in this globe – they can eat and shit at the same place without a single shred of hesitation..

I draw the above conclusion after reading the widespread support from these dummo members on the issue of a SK school’s principal who asked some students to eat inside a toilet. Trust me, you will be amazed by their justifications of why and how eating near a place you shit is such a wonderful idea..

Makes you wonder about the next issue. Normally, if CNY or Hari Raya falls on the end of a calender month, the government will pay out the pension of retired government servants before the 15 of the month. Now GE13 is over, the pensions are still not paid out and it is already the 19 Jan. Government pokai or what?

No lah!....just a short delay....probably a mix up/delay over the order for ink......they will get it this week ;)

"Every year Bank Negara Malaysia issues about 750 million pieces of new RM1 and RM5 banknotes for both Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Chinese New Year.....However, "In support of the "Go Green" initiative, Bank Negara Malaysia will continue to recycle near new RM1 and RM5 banknotes for the coming Chinese New Year." :D

"Printing 500 million pieces of banknotes consumes more than 80 tons of ink and 2 million kWh of electricity which is enough to power 7,500 Malaysian homes for a month......The "Go Green" initiative, launched in July 2013">>Link@BNM (http://www.bnm.gov.my/index.php?ch=en_press&pg=en_press_all&ac=2944&lang=en)

After all these years.....finally, cutting costs with a 'Go Green' effort, Hmmmm.....makes me wonder too ;-)
