where Putra Avenue now sits? I'm told by someone it was and he encounters ghostly disturbance staying there.

The houses there are really spacious and contemporary in design. :)

If there was a cemetary it would have been properly relocated. I do not think that companies like sime would just bulldoze the cemetary in the middle of the night and moreover where a place is secluded and forested it would naturally invite 'things' to move in and stay. They normally do not disturb though they may appear before certain people. I dont think that these spirits can do anything but frighten those who are able to see them.

In 1988, I was transferred from Nestle House PJ (behind PJ Hilton) to Bangunan Tabung Haji at Greenhall in Georgetown in Penang. Since my employer, a major MNC in food and beverage, will be paying my rental for 3 years, so I move into a sparkling new condominium in Batu Ferringhi known as The Peak. One block of high end condominium with sea view and located in the forested area on top of a lonely hill.

I found out I was the 4th person to move into the block and the whole condominium - about 30 floors high - and there are 4 of us and located far from each other.

Let me tell you - it was eerie feeling every night. Even walking from my Ford TX3 in the empty car park to the lift, macam ada orang ikut saya.... and I always thought something will just jump out of the lift whenever I press the button...

Nothing happened... I lived for 3 years there and nothing abnormal happened....

The place is quite well populated now. :)

Then there is The Glades development going full swing. And the LRT is being connected into Putra Heights. The whole place should become a bustling township in the near future.

dont know about there but here's a story:

I was pioneer dweller of Sri Hartamas when those hills still have virgin jungles, a spring head (houses built over it now  and tall elephant grass (where desa h'mas now sits)...and Sprint wasnt even there yet.

Anyway, my right hand side neighbor (xNestle guy, NOT SM lah:p had called upon a bomoh, then pastor then taoist priest to bless/exorcise his townhouse of extra tenants.
His driver told me that his boss was so scared that 1night he had to stay back to accompany...and he (the driver) was like kinda roughly moved 180degree while asleep in the hall... I didnt believe him cos he smelt of alcohol then:p

Then my fave midnite peeing spot was the papaya tree (bore me lotsa big juicy fruits) in my garden ..and a couple of my-SOBU (stay over buddies:heheheh: then had mentioned they seen an elder guy wearing golf kinda attire walking about in my garden....they saw separate time of course. I didnt believe either of them of course, you know lah, clubbing & party females with their wild imagination:p

Then 1time, we were partying so hard and so loud, than on apause-mode all of a sudden, in the dead quiet of a wee morning i distinctly heard in inglis "Oooiii! Keep quiet! Its already 3am, go to bed!"...I didnt believe i heard that either, cos my left hand side neighbor was a vacant lot...:heheheh:

Their kind believe these type of things . Once I was called because a few of our guests kena. They were all in their prayer room . I popped in to have a look. The one who was 'possessed' had frizzy hair and of the darker variety. I think ghost see her also scared. She was scolding all those who were holding her and one was chanting some stuff. I dont know what she was saying and stood there for a while. Since I was of no help standing there I went out shortly after that and later they put her in a bath with some flowers. A few of them kena.

How does this one work ? I am always puzzled when I read about this phrase.

Is it like dogs barking even though they don't know why but just because another dog started it ?

Somehow the hysteria spreads like a contagious disease quickly from one to the rest in the classroom. I think even a doctor cannot explain.

The moment one starts, the rest will kena so what they normally do is they isolate each of them so that the chain is broken. They go a bit wonkers. Screaming and shouting, some crying. In our case the one who started claimed someone talking to her. I cannot see and moreover there were so many people in the room, all of whom I do not know so I dont know if any was actually the spirit!! Maybe I see also I dont recognise the fella. !!

The proper and correct term is TANGKAL.
BTW, factually, Muslims are forbidden to wear "supernatural" talismans and sorts. It encourage deviation from one's faith in God, therefore generally forbidden, but people do so regardless of discouragement.

:heheheh:..again, 'forbidden' is a subject of interpretation & convenience. Many took to wearing humongous semi-precious stone set in gold ring ...and also own different keris that have all kinda jampi supernatural power! :heheheh: Or even holy scripts pasted all over the home, car and even motorbikes! Aint that a talisman too? :heheheh:

Hmmm..I was referring to those talisman given by bomohs and such. I think there's no law nor regulation over this all, nor PDRM or some authority arresting someone because of this. I don't think its ever happened. As mentioned earlier, people do what they think suit them and its their prerogative at this point of time.

that is my old skool. Yup i recalled there is this malay gurl student who always get hysteria. that was way back in 1995.

SHe always get hysteria as she saw the ghost. I think is a lady ghost that always disturb her. sometimes in the class room out of no reason she start screaming and yelling.

really got ghost cause her face and her body all be so weak. and she keep cry. is really pitiful scene. then her parents will come. they bring her to bomoh still cannot cure.

her days in school are this week full attendance. next week if kena then one week mc. then next week come again if the ghost dont disturb her then no problem, but i think lastly the parents change her school...so then i came here and read abt this ..perhaps the lady ghost is still there, hmmm

the topics of this super natural thingy is always intriguing...

I was born and bread in PJ.... heard few stories while growing up... but never seen one.. until one fine day, my 3 months old daughter started crying right on 12 midnight. It last the whole night till Azan suboh (call for prayer in early morning)... I tot it was the heat.. as when we took her for a ride in the car with air cond.. she was ok...
after the 2nd day, I was told to prepare some minyak kelapa with lada hitam and bawang and put the mixture onto her toes...... and if she cried loudly aka wailing .. then something is wrong... the time came around 12.00 mn she started to cry... and I went down and took the mixture...

to our suprised ... half way on the stairs she started wailing as loud as she can.... our heart pounded so hard that one can hear it...
immediately we took our daughter out from the house and sent to my mom's..

the next day... we went to see one particularly lady bomoh.... the moment we went it... she said..

"ah.. apa sal ko kacau budak ni!!!..."
while inviting us to come in, she looked at me and said" ko tak payah... dudok luar ajer!!"
I was like what??? me ... then she said" bukan anak... yang belakang tu...!!!!"

walawei.... something was following me.... and I got scolded for not follwoing the elderly advise that before u reached home, washed up your face and feet before getting into the house.... as I at that time spent most of my evening till late evening at football field....

an experienced that will not be easily forgotten....
