The reason I am asking ~ is because I too, have a 2 seater sofa (in fairly good condition and with spare covers) that I need to give away soon ~ but i don't wanna be giving to this "group" of ..... for obvious reasons....

Hi all

I'm posting this on behalf of the Subang Jaya Book Exchange Programme. If you know anyone who wants to give away their old sofas (in good condition) we would gladly accept it. This is to be used by visitors during the book exchange, which is currently held at the USJ 2 Community Hall.

For more details, check out our Facebook page http://facebook.com/sjusjbep

Charity begins at home. Why look so far? I remember reading the request put out by Sulynx last month which I requoted here. Our very own Book Exchange Centre is looking for sofa sets to make reading time at the Centre more comfortable. Why not send your unwanted sofa sets to them. As I know transportation is a problem, I can arrange it. It was reported in the Star that they will be moving to USJ 12 Community Cabin which is large enough to seat 20 people easily. The cabin has been renovated since last month and is waiting to receive the Subang Jaya Book Exchange Programme anytime.

You could try donating it to this orphanage.

I was told it was orignally owned by some large shipping firm in Port Klang,
until it went insolvent some years ago.

One of their employees, Mr Manimaran, then took over and is now running
it on his own funds, plus donations. I heard it costs some $9,000 a month at least.

thanks for the update/highlight about Jumble Station... :) I was actually referring to the if Jumble Station was donating a percentage of their sale to this "Ibu Tunggal group" (same one that is suing the S'gor state govt) or just perhaps one "single mom" staying @ USJ1 Angsana Flats...

Watch here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=FEXJZg1GziM#! If you fellas haven't heard - seems there are suddenly 50,000 single moms out to scalp the state Govt for 'unkept promises.... why can't THEY go can sue their ex-husbands instead... for child support and alimony instead pulling this stupid BN/Public Relations stunt.....
