I have always wondered what would it take, for the authorities to ensure that the road conditions are kept up to par instead of it being poorly maintained...

Persiaran Harmoni - the main artery (road) that connects to the rest of Putra Heights is so badly maintained that one would think that the road is perhaps somewhere in the outskirts of Selangor... Now this is also the main road that leads to multi-million (1.4 mil upwards) price tagged at the Glades and Palm projects... half the median lines and yellow lines are so faded that motorist have to play a guessing game if they are in the right lane or 'drifting' into another lane.... I hope that the MPSJ fellas would come an inspect and see for themselves the condition of the road and resurface and repaint the whole stretch.... No more patchwork to be done. Damn contractor that does the patchwork resurfacing ought to be blacklisted from ever holding another MPSJ contract...

Which leads me to the actual issue - there is a Secondary School in USJ 23... Everyday- after school, kids walk/run across the street to get back to their little kampong on the other side.... According to the teacher - numerous requests had been made for a pedestrian bridge for the school children to use... BUT TO THIS DATE, nothing has materialize,.. and today a school kid got whacked by a speeding vehicle... No median lines, no stop sign and speedbreakers to slow down the vehicles... and well, - somebody's kid got whacked...

I just hope that the MPSJ. would get cracking and build a pedestrian bridge and also repaint and resurface the roads real soon... before another kid(s) gets mowed down or gets killed instead...

Just to digress a little. The hill slope development by Kingleys is another tragedy waiting to happen. God already sent warning twice this month but work still goes on. MPSJ stop work order has been blatantly ignored by MCT. I commute every day and don't know when will I be the next victim to be buried alive. Written many times to our PKR ADUN but nothing positive thus far. ( As usual, reply like...we are looking into it). We have 2 DAP YB living in Putra Heights seems to be unperturbed about it.

When are we going to learn? When lives are taken then only we take action? I hope the 2 DAP YB who read my plight can take up this matter with their PKR comrades immediately.

Bro, traffic will increased when One City open. Seems the road to Usj 23 school is also linked to one city. OH MY GOD...lets see what will happen next.

Wellcome to ONE WORLD ALLIANCE....

Sorry no news link...

Kid was lucky to be alive after the accident... kudos to the cops for turning up really fast and helping at the scene...

Checked the kid out and ensured no spinal or head injuries and moved him to the side of the road.... (good to remember that after an accident, NEVER move a victim in case of spinal injuries. What you do can make things worst... ie. paralysis ! )

Anyway the ambulance personnel from Putra Jaya should also be commended for their speedy arrival...

I just hope that the authorities and MPSJ would get this road resurfaced and repainted soon, and get a pedestrian bridge up sooner... This junction and a total of 7 LANES with fast moving vehicles from both sides... plus a HUGE BLIND spot when you're downhill from Putra Heights... They better do it fast before another kid gets whacked and killed instead...
