I go to ATM Autoworks at 16, Jalan PJS 11/17 (from Esso station at LDP). Look for Ah Soon (0166825522). Been sending my cars there for almost 20 years.

Try William of BF Auto. Had my daughter's car resprayed there recently. Went to him because he was highly recommended for good work, great service and reasonable pricing. William's a really nice guy and honest.

I understand there are warranty for 1/2/3 years. Price varies between RM300. Even a full Vios only cost RM1800 with 3 years. RM3,500 is really on high side.

I have never sent my cars for respray before though I had a Ipoh friend who ran reputable workshop there. Cheaper but bit of inconvenience to send it to Ipoh Mali. SUmore, he could have relocated. Anyway, what would be a reasonable cost to spray the Kangoo?

Actually, the car paint is great but being coated with single layer of white paint because it was being used by a major corporation. The paint easily comes off with my finger nails where I could see the shiny metallic blue which is the original color. But it would takes me a year or two to scrap it.

And what;s the difference of 2k paint and standard paint?

carbon fibre sticker will make the car looks like ah beng car lo.... :D

car repainting has always been a TT topic with my regular workshop. made to understand that the important part is the quality and number of layers of the clear top coat whether it's lacquer or enamel. most of the time, the difference in price is from this.

Buddy - what do you use your car for? Work? Pleasure? Both?
It's a Kangoo, not a AMG/SLK or some other 6 figure car.... Just go get yourself a good Body Paint workshop that isn't gonna skin you and the 6 months down the road, the paint start skinning itself from the car pulak

.... Solid paint perhaps white (not the lacquered/clear coats) would be just fine and cost just about 1,200 for the whole car...

Then again ~ who knows, you might wanna make it look like the flower power era, Herbie the VW or Scooby's van.... thats a different story la... :p

It's for work with pleasures. :D

Solid paint goes dull faster whereas 2k easier to maintain and dun have to main main with polishing.

But then I might just stick with white color spray as the original color is mid blue ( engine compartment is problematic to be resprayed)

And I might thinking of sticking it with " MY Zing " in white blue, red, and yell ow flag colors with carbon fiber sticker to make it looks oopah style- hip and hop cool?
