I am not sure if this girl - who went to UMNO's HQ at PWTC today to launch a one-lady protest is brave, fed-up, or just plain stupid... I really dunno... maybe she is all three!

what i gather from this clip again confirmed that we are living in a society where the majority adopting bully culture.

This kind of culture also can be seen in playground among the young children. They are brought up from young to be bullies.

Yup, it is a reflection of their embedded bullying culture..…

Just like you can find the conmen culture in those Nigerian "students" here..

Its just a stupid, senseless stunt and virtually achieving nothing. What can one unknown person do at some hornets nest. Only get stung and thrown out.
If one or two people can create fantastic achievement, there'd be no need for demos and street marches. Collective effort and unity is strength can topple anything. Majority MUST do the right thing at the ballot box...nothing else matter.

I totally disagree. This girl should be applauded for her bravery. I wish there are more like her who is willing to stand for their belief. There is a place for numbers but there is also a place for individual heroism. Numbers never stir up imagination and inspiration. It is the act of a single individual that often inspires the masses.

I submit 1 person in a 1mosaic society cannot make a diff. 1person of the 'wrong' colour/race/religion trying to stir where majority 60% of the 1population of the 1country is supporting?

It is called a 'rebel with a marginal cause' in western society where majority rules, via a democratic electorate process. Her effort is commendable but sadly akin to a lone shewolf baying & howling in the wind.

I submit too, getting involve in a mass yellow shirt sit in or gathering will have a better effect...plus she wont be manhandled by mauling men in pseudo-polis uniform.

On the other hand, she did not have to content with tear gas, razor sharp wire, and getting beaten by revengeful officers. And it happened in an air-conditioned building, not in the hot sun.:)

Why do you go into the UMNO building to protest against the UMNO people to tell them they are corrupt, wearing a label over your T-shirt? Don't you think you are stupid? What do you expect to achieve by doing that? Do you think it will change anything?

As long as the chinese hire tons of foreigners who will become citizens in the future (eg. indon, bangla, pakistani), the 'majority' will vote for BN.

I am sorry I disagree with you there.... have you analysed the voter trends or read the analysis by Ong Kian Ming (@imokman on Twitter, Wong Piang Yow of Tindak Malaysia or Nathaniel Tan from PKR?

The Chinese are all with PR, half the Malays are with PR... the swing votes are now with the Indians... thank God they are only significant in relatively few constituencies...

"What do you expect to achieve by doing that?" = All the publicity and attention you crave for :D

"Do you think it will change anything?" = Your life from this day on

As with all Activism.....there is always the 'lone ranger' for whom the underlying cause may forever remain hidden.;)

Knowing how some of the ultra rightwings behave ~ the authorities might leak her whereabouts and address, and next thing you know - 'things' can happen!

Fine example: How one of the Bersih steering committee fella got waylaid and beaten up while he was jogging, by "unknown" persons for "unknown" reasons...

Do your maths properly. assuming chinese drop 10% every decade, malay increase 15% every decade

In 2010, chinese 25%, malay 60%

In 2020, chinese 15%, malay 75%

In 2030, chinese 5%, malay 90%

By new malays, it is all these 'new malaysians' from indon who will be grouped under malay and their higher birth rates of 4 to 5 kids per family.

Even if 100% chinese behind PR (which is impossible), it is only a VERY small impact. That's why the govt don't need to take into account chinese votes or sentiments in the future. Who's to blame ? The chinese themselves for hiring so many foreigners who will become new citizens in the future.
I met quite a few of them having blue and red IC.

but in this scenario, the underlying cause (endemic corruption) is widely known YET acceptable by the majority.

So her act of bravado borders on misplaced & stupid recklessness, even for a justifiable cause.
She can expend (maybe she already did/doing) more productive energy in say:
- going around with a sandwich board and promoting Voter registration in BBintang (for the publicity&attention grabbing implied)
--dll political guerilla warfare actvities which the political parties have to pay me (preferably with infrastructure licenses, and oligopoly business) to recommend...

And on the separate issue of population breakdown. Whats so wrong if the pendatang is only 5% of the 2030 census? If the pendatang do the right thing between now to 2030, then the future generations of pendatang will By Jove/God/Zeus/Allah/Buddha/Ganesh/Mighty Nibokanizer be able to say "Thanks to my foreparents (circa 2012-2020) doing the right thing, we now are TRULY a full 100% Malaysian, regardless of race, colour, religion or keturunan crap..." something the present day pendatangcannot say about our inheritance...

So what if the bangla/indon/mamak/african etcetc brownies/blackies/polkadotties are clustered as the majority bumiputra, as long as the constitutional rights for all are enshrined and not be mucked around at the whims & fancies of selfserving racist policitians.
All pendatangs are minority outside of China/taiwan...so, it simply aint a big deal lah. I prefer passing down a generation of quality descendants, NOT quantity buncha myopic self serving half wit morons!

Aak...Aak!......that's her 'apparent cause'....she has boldly proclaimed it on her tee....unless she comes out in the open and explain her fool hardy action....one wonders about her 'underlying cause' to seek and attract such attention ;)

There is often more to every story that what is obviously apparent. :)
