'Proxus Communication'??

Little bit upset with Proxus which provides the StreamX wireless service to USJ.

Ok, I went to Subang Parade last year to sign up for the wireless thingy under Proxus. But after they came and do some testing six months ago, they told me signal is bad. so forget about it and wait.

Well, that's not all, imagine 14 people coming to your house doing some signal testing service, climbing up and down and told me bad signal. Then why they promoting the wireless service. Darn! So I waited.....

I heard from the new staff, a malay girl from proxus that they had some management change and that could be the reason..I dunno really Fed-up!

Subsequently, I called up again to check and they told me that my form doesn't exist in their database! walau!..

To cut the story short, they told me my form might have gone to Vendor-X. So I called up vendor-X and my form was there.
I was frustrated of why my form was passed around without informing me and worst still, no feedback from them after the signal test!

I dunno anyone faced this bloody problem but I did!
Once bitten twice shy lor for me

Do what I did...
Go to SJaya Kedai Telekom..tell them u want "wireless Streamyx".
service.
Fill in the application form..hand over to the lady..then wait for one week.
Telekom Equipment staff willl call u on yr handfone and arge a test
date.
They wil come nn test yr hse for signal strength..nn if OK..they
will have the contractor (who is also there for the testing) install alll the wireless equipment..U do not have to go tru Proxus..
Mind u..yr rooof shud be suitable to install the 2.4 Ghz antenna,
which is like Mega TV large antenna.
Connection speed is good..more than 300 kbps..but wireless
streamyx maintenance is done by telekom's sub con..
If server is down..takes a few days to come back on line.

I just got my cable copper line connection, this evening!7.30pm
The guy came over and installed for me, nice guy.
I applied via Telekom last week..
