My house in USJ6, low pressure today. House opposite mine, water tank empty this morning. Not enough pressure to fill up tank. SYABAS really throttling down water supply. On top of that, it was raining this morning when I went for my morning walk. Luckily took an umbrella. What is going on?

Tap dry now at 12.45 pm. No warning of rationing and taps run dry?

2pm now pressure still low! My water meter was recently changed to a plastic meter when no one was around and spinning very fast nowadays. Called SYABAS ask them and the reply was your meter was not on the list to be changed and who changed it I was ASKED!!! Told them how the hell I know who changed it, asking me for the meter serial no, told them if they want to know come and check it yourself.

This thread is about water cut in USJ6 - the issue of Syabas takeover is not relevant here. Please start another thread of follow through on another thread already discussing the Syabas issue...not here please

I heard that the people at Syabas didn't know about the cutoff until one lady at USJ 6 enquired about it around 4 pm with their personnel stationed at the USJ6 LRT station worksite ......... then they went to check and came back saying that the water is now running.
Black to brown at first ... later cloudy ... now it is back to clear .... the pressure seemed to have been raised ... more power!~
They claimed they didn't know it was shut off!~

Nice to know - everytime there is a water cut and if you noticed it - the first thing you SHOULD do is to OFF your supply to your WATER TANK to avoid MUD SLUDGE and DIRT filling your tank! Usually you would find a stop-cock (tap) in the stairway wall or on the wall near your driveway. That IS usually the tap that leads to your water tank.

If you can't find that tap - then best you OFF the supply from the mains for about an hour or so.... until the water supply fills up other people's tanks.... ;)
