Go to Master Car Care (SS19/6) directly behind Restoran Melur and look for Mr LEE ... he is a bit of a wizard with car mechanics and engine ... old hands and experience ... (avoid 1-2pm - his LUNCH time !!)

Shiva,if your car is electronic ignition,like Kelisa,kenari etc it auto tune itself,no need to look for foreman.

I think shiva wants more than a place to restore his car engine to the original performance (which most of us understand as tuning). He wants to increase the pickup for his car, which would mean (in modern cars), a remapping of the ECU. I was told the place to go would be Sunway Mentari, but I don't have any info other than it costs a lot of money, and the warranty of ur car becomes void.

OIC ... like that, then I am not so sure IF he is the right man for the job if you want to change all the electronics to "oooommphh" the car beyond .... ;) but if you don't ask, you will not know right ?

1st off have you done the basic i/h/e?

Start with your intake - change your filter fr paper to highflow 'drop-in' or go fr extreme with a mushroom
Change your oem header to an aftermarket extractor; for pick-up go with 4-2-1 set-up
Increase the diameter of your exhaust - not just muffler but the whole set-up from extractor all the way to muffler.

Once you have the basic, attack the internals - pnp & skim your head, bore out your tb and intake manifold, install hi-cams

Then lastly do up your electronics - ecu piggy or standalone?

If you want to do it the easy way - Bolt on a turbo

All the above is not basic. Its hot rodding the engine and will cost a bomb depending on quality and repute of bolt on's... end up with a car thats quite noisy, may irritate some people nearby and mental fatigue from exhaust noise especially after a long outstation drive. Lastly fuel consumption may just go up. Used to travel in some 90's model stock Alfa Romeo. Just couldn't stand the sporty exhaust noise. It got into me and felt it was just another very uncomfortable car on outstation tour.
Anyway, I think the thread starter isn't interested in doing any or all of the above. Maybe just expecting some tuning with some screwdrivers and small wrenches, done in 15 mins max.

Sorry if I misinterpreted but 'engine tuning to increase pick-up' assuming TS's car is a fuel injection (as oppose to old time caburator periodical 'tuning')

15 minute DIY u r probably playing with the ignition timing (adjusting the idling valve and distributor?) would not improve the pick-up noticably?

No indication here whatsoever what type of engine or car model. Bolt ons and serious mods offer incremental performance improvement but all come at great cost. Not going to get that for RM50-100. Obviously if the any engine had been running all the time on mal-adjustment in the first place, it'll be at sub par performance. Permissible re-adjustments to original setting can restore it to near or designed performance. It all depends on the type of engine and whats permissible. There's no user adjustments in full EFI engines. Everything is mostly locked in from new.

How about water or water/methanol injection ?

One of the commenters in the first video, Warren52nz, said that
using water alone is preferable as he found out from experience that
the methanol corroded the brass and copper in his intake syste, is
expensive and didn't improve performance over basic water much.
