Ah Jib Gor told the Indians community celebrating Thaipusam in order for him to help them, they should trust him. http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2012/2/7/nation/10689637&sec=nation
In JibGor We Trust instead of In God We Trust ?

These apple polishers garlanded ah jib kor and lou ma with a garland big enough to cover the both of them and not be seen if they were standing behind it but of course it is opened in the middle to reveal the both of them coming out from the middle of the garland.

Of course, we can trust him..

Just like we can trust the pepper-spray woman did what she needed to do to help the Perak people in the name of democracy...

Just like we can trust the cd fella has dedicated his life for the greater good of Chinese folks in this land...

Just like we can trust all the napoleons (big and small) in the MOE are fair people and are willing to help the Chinese schools…..

Just like what I once heard the North Korean broadcast (via BBC) about their dear/great leader – “he has done so much and sacrificed so much for the country and for all the people in North Korea, but he has not taken anything from the country for himself in his entire life….”

Isnt that garland big enough for the deity in the temple. The oversize garland is akin to a saying that said " Dun have such a big head, dun wear such a big oversize hat. "

That garland will soon turn into a political millstone around his neck.

So sad.......When will we ever learn that a religious function should not have political speeches - perception is everything.

The focus for this event - Thaipusam - should be on the kavadi carriers and their story of sacrifices, devotion and decisions to carry the kavadi.....no?

If you want to "cleanse your sins", please do the correct thing in this event...carry a kavadi. Splashing money I think is inappropriate - no honesty, no purity of heart.

Just my honest opinion....

Cheers!
