I came to know our local manufactured chocolates (including some well known brand) is much sweeter than the same product manufactured in another developed country.
This I oso don't understand!
Anyway, Malaysia just have to learn the hard way by kena health complications later on if consume too much sugar. Otherwise rarely learn anything to reduce sugar intake. Countless kueh and drinks are so damn sweet.. Sugar is free kah? Even your nice delicious plate of chee cheong fun sauce could consist of at least a tablespoon of sugar. I know because to make a bowl of sweet sauce will require 6-8 spoons of sugar to get the required taste.
Point is, Malaysia is over consuming sugar, which I think mostly for commercial and industry purpose. Ordinary household don't consume much.

They should lock the price up for the next 100 years and say it is for the good of the rakyat. Only thing is the government has to pay for the difference in price. The gomen is paying to whom?

They should lock the price up for the next 100 years and say it is for the good of the rakyat. Only thing is the government has to pay for the difference in price. The gomen is paying to whom? The key issues here Ming, is that the world price of sugar for Icumsa 45 which is Refined White Sugar, Icumsa 70-100 which is Refined Cane Sugar and Raw Sugar Icumsa 80-1200 has plummeted over last 6 to 7 months but the Domestic Trade Minister announced to the press it has sky-rocketed and thus the gomen has to increase subsidy of sugar to the sugar people like Felda (which control Malayan Dugar Mill or sometimes known as PraiSugar locatedat Mak Mandin, Butterworth) and Tradewinds (which own Central Sugar Refinery at Shah Alam - as u know is indirectly Syed Mokhtar Al-Barangkali) so is the minister lying and if so why? Is this how the gomen passes on millions to Felda to shore up the company or to Syed al-Barangkali etc? Who is cheating who?

In the past when they made statements like that they could get away with it. Nowadays people can see through their con immediately. However all the msm have refrained from korrecting the minster so they assume people are stupid and we would be stupid to keep them from dumbing us again and again.
