Can the forum ( KWChang) be sued for someone's else post/comment that NAMES the company for providing dodgy services, after-sales, warranty etc ....
I know you can be sued if it is a BLOG but in an open public forum ?
Perhaps, some lawyers (forumers) don't mind giving pro-bono (community service) advice as the forum is also an avenue for ALL of us to know which company is providing dodgy services and selling bad products.
Or perhaps, the lawyers can also suggest SOME CLAUSE that KWChang can insert in the forum ... ?
Just asking ... :D

Next would be the auntie from the stall . Oh....not forgetting choy kee as well for letting this stall operating on it's premises.
You would not have a pants on this CNY ....and don't try running around naked as another charged would be waiting for you.....ok...!!!!!

On a serious note, personally, I have found the forum to be pretty RELIABLE in both its recommendations and condemnations of products and services to the SJ/USJ community.
I hope there is something that can be worked out so that we don't lose this "gem" of forumers openly sharing our praises and damnations ....
OK, lunch time - CHoy Kee currymee .... :D

I am not a lawyer, I don't know if kwchang as a moderator of this forum can be sue or not (definately can be sue! but at here I mean legally reliability) for a forummer's post, but one thing FOR SURE is kwchang will have extra job to read/reply lawyer's letters or even need to go to court to testify and give statement. So, like kwchang said "WHY should I stick my neck out for you flers?"

Opppss ... my mistake, I should say, LATER lunch time .... :o :DFor a moment, I thought the currymee at what...Choy Kee..was so good that you had to start your lunch at 9.58am for you couldn't wait till 1pm! :p:D
On a more serious note, I hope a lawyer will come in soon to shed some light on the matter. Anyone in here knows Karpal Singh? :D

There is a current legal case where SG MPH straits times is suing Yahoo for using their content without permission.
Remember, there were cases where malaysiakini were sued, the author and their computers were taken away
Even JO will be sued as the sole owner for this site :D
