Raya Puasa is coming soon and our neighbour is showing our nice POLIS on the video on "duit kopi". RM50 is the standard amount of "KOPI $$$".

Looks cooked up.

1. No police will be that stupid to accept it openly and brazenly just by taking it through the window

2. We cannot even get the face of the policeman

3. Any one seen the movie "I Love Wing Chun" - well, it is as idiotic.

I am not defending our police - rather if it is true, bring it to the table correctly but don't slander unnecessarily.

Looks cooked up.

Looks like it, sounds like it, but it's not... sound all too familiar?
I saw d full video. It doesn't look like a cooked-up vid.
In d vid, d cam was not visible to d cops... It's on d highway, with other uniformed men on d roadblock... who in d world has d luxury of time to make such movie with a feeble non-pro cam, except it was an impomptu??

Sorry jimjamison, but what u said is too unlikely.

I think the PRDM has already taken "action" against the culprit

No issues on this, it is open debate.

However, from what I have seen, in the past, the police will insist that the driver put the "incentive" on the summons book, under it somewhere.

Maybe nowadays, they don't care about getting caught anymore?

aiya... again another cop story/thread....

end of the day - kalau u salah, lu bayar la... SAMAN !!

if you plead your case and the cops gives you fair warning (and/or a lecture) and lets you go... so be it... be thankful. but if he doesn't let you go... why plead summore for 'help'.... you put the cop in a situation where he oso will have 2 hearts ( mana tau, you "undercover!" ) or worst - to arrest you for "offering" a bribe/settlement instead...

imho - if kena cekup for offense... own up, admit and accept - the lecture or the saman... habis cerita... :)

i have my grievences with cops ( the SS15 saman incident among one of them ) but to offer a bribe to get out of a situation, that is just not right... sorry, no way jose...

*thumbs UP* to u bro! Brani bikin brani tanggung!

This utube thread 1st appeared 2-3weeks ago from spore. I gave my spore friends hell and lectured on dare to speed dare to pay...else, shaddup! Then the best part was a couple of spore cop friends confirmed a complaint, from another fren that after he bribed the bolehtrafik cops, his car was still blacklisted and got stopped months later on a reentry! HAHAHAHAHA! :D :D Padan muka!

Dont get me wrong. While i obey most traffic laws BUT i aint no saint on the road. I have my share of traffic offences too. I have 2 simple choices. Either I pay up or dont get caught! :p

Best is of course, dont ever get caught! Selamat hari Raya! :D

Many Malaysian motorists are guilty as hell as the cops they are pointing their fingers at! Some even bribe the cops in front of their 6-7 year-old kids so the disease continues in Bolehland in perpetuity!

This isolated case again reflects the characters of singaporean…

They dare not bribe the cops in singapore, but they will pay bribe when they are in Malaysia.

Bribe and receive bribe are both guilty… this fella should be punished when he entered Malaysia again…

P/s: I have to use the word “isolated” (I beleive everbody know this is definately not isolated) or else will get bashing from someone who is formerly from bolehaland but now is a singaporean. He will bash with his famous excuse -generalization..

Wait a minute, where is he ?? This singaporean bribe malaysian cop thread have been around for weeks ??

I agree with this statement absolutely! We drive around and break all traffic rules and all rules in front of our children, then we complain about "what this generation has turned into." We blame everything and everyone. We curse the effect, conveniently forgetting we are the cause. Typically Malaysian!

Aiya... most foreigners visiting Malaysia when encounter similar incident will do the same thing as this Singaporean ler... if they know they can get away with it... they would probably just pay the bribe and get on with it...

Singaporean, Aussies, American, European, Hongkies... same... they don't do it in their own countries cuz it would get em into trouble... but when visiting Malaysia or most countries where corruption is at large... think what majority of them will do...

Check out the foreigners buying pirated DVDs, faked brand products in Petaling streets etc...

Same as Malaysian... when we visit other corruption-free countries... bribery would be the last thing in our mind...

Very true, I agreed.

But will you post a video you bribed someone to the public domain, and then condemn the person whom you bribed… and acted like you are a damn innocent victim !!

The video does reflect the quality of the people in that country, right ?? I really hope this is just an isolated case..
