Apparently some mau san sifus (or sinsehs to some people) derive their powers from contacts with the underworld. Once a while they have to travel over the other side to rejuvenate their powers. Of course they pay a price. I was told (dont know if it was true or not) they they cannot get married or have kids.

Maybe it's because who would have thought that one of the popular tourist attractions in Georgetown, Penang is the Old Christian cemetery opposite the Old UMW showroom(now Lexus).
