Would like to have some pointers on this.

What is the legal age for a person to open and operate a bank account in Malaysia?

And, what is the minimum age for a person to be named as beneficiary under the EPF nomination (without the need of guardian, etc)?

Most banks dictate their own minimum age for each type of account.

In general, children below the age of 12 have to open the account with a parent/guardian.

For accounts to be opened individually:-
Savings account - 12 & above & with IC
Fixed Deposits - 18 years & above
Current Account - 18 years & above. Some banks are 21 & above.
