This was reported in the Star online

Subang Jaya is not listed though I tried checking their website to confirm and find that I cannot access Syabas website at all. Even the hotline number is engaged the whole time!

I think the paper's list of affected areas is quite comprehensive and Subang Jaya or Glenmarie is not mentioned. In fact Shah Alam and Klang is also not included. Hence we probably have nothing to worry about if the areas are not mentioned

I do not know about Subang Jaya (northof the Kesas Highway) but USJ (south of the Kesas Highway) is supplied from the Semenyih treatment plant and so USJ is not affected

'SS1 hingga SS9 Kelana Jaya; SS 20 hingga SS 26 Damansara'
Since SS10 to SS19 has been deliberately omitted, it appears Subang Jaya is not affected by the water interruption.

Seems like Syabas has been very diligent in performing Maintenance these days. However, water quality still remains wanting.
Particulate count still remains high. My plain 5-micron water filter turns brown-black in 5 days. I got to apply double filter liow. :D

We received notification from PUAS posted on our bulletin board last week to inform us of water cut from 10pm - 5am starting Thursday, 23rd June 2011

My area is in SS19/3, Subang Jaya so I would advised you all to take note and find out more if you are staying in Subang or even USJ

SYABAS, (I think)

It's water supply disruption, not total water cut, & most areas will hv water supply gradually restored in stages within 24hrs after the shutdown, with 8am Friday as the time supply will be fully restored. The notification on water supply disruption had been posted/advertised in 3 selected newspaper a week ago (The Star - on 16&17Jun, Utusan, China Press), and available on Syabas website. Unfortunately many ppl missed that.

Don't think USJ/SJ is affected.

...you may want to avoid some eateries including malls that are located in the affected areas, otherwise you'll risk having you meal served on dirty dishes, etc., or no water to flush after pansai...(perhaps someday we'll hv vacuum toilets (like those on the aeroplanes) on the ground...)

I wonder if the reservoirs are dry, it hasn't rained for some time.
I dont buy their reasons for the shut down!
