There was a stall located amongsts the many other stalls at the the Thien How near Seputeh which was selling this on 1st and 15th day of the Chinese month which caught my attention, I called it the Russian Doll Buns :D because it got smaller buns in within.... go have a look there and ask those folks there, they should be able to help tell you where to find them.... :D

Thanks for the feedback. :) Someone told me to check out the Chinese restaurants as well.

Those sold in temples or by joss-stick sellers are meant for prayers & I believe the buns are tasteless. Hmm, this is meant for an elderly person's birthday, so I dont think it's good 'yee tau' to get from the temples & joss... ;) but I agree they probably know the best place to get 1 for a longevity birthday celebration.

You can get them from most Chinese restaurants. Try the Tai Thong Imperial China restaurant above Jaya Square? Next to flyover at the traffic lights opposite SS15

I was at Tong Kee at SS15 today. There was a small poster advertising that longevity baskets were available. From the picture, there's a big basket and in it, there's one large peach shaped bun in the centre sourrounded by little peach shaped buns.
