USJ 11/2j

This morning, I was merrily doing what I always do, going home, I'll turn into the junction after the traffic lights on Persiaran Tujuan, opp SMK USJ12. I then turn an immediate right along the perimeter road and came to abrupt stop as a unmanned boom gate blocked my way. No prior warning, no alert, no nothing before! Muttering I turned into USJ 11/1b. At the end of the road, I'm stuck again as both left and right ends with a downed boom gate! I was so angry by then. :mad: I noticed so many drivers being caught in this manner too, going or coming along the perimeter.

Point is I want the convenience of going home, that's the whole point of perimeter roads so that the residences can use it for easier access. I don't understand why as a resident living in USJ 11/1, I'm facing this problem. By all means, do whatever to make the area safer but please, the perimeter road boom gates must be manned at all times. I don't begrudge the other sections of USJ 11even if I have to go further but USJ 11/1 is where I live and I don't see why I should be inconvenienced? I pay road tax and should have access to public roads like the rest of the people living in this area. :(

I hope whoever's in charge would stop barracading my perimeter road else leave a guard beside it. I think my request is reasonable.

Nope. Strange? Not in this part of the world where decisions are made at will and straightaway forced down people's throats. :(

But seriously, my debate is whether outer perimeter roads be blocked unmanned to the inconvenience of residents living within it? If you want to G & G, by all means but at the ends of the rowslah.

That was the perimeter road that was blocked by the unmanned boom gate, that's why. Didn't happened before and I'm glad to report has not happened since. Wonder why a few (two?) boom gates are installed along that inner road though. This is a busy area as parents would wait for their children from SMK USJ 12 who uses the pedestrian bridge to get across.
