Did you guys read a letter from a Malaysian in the Star online at:
http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2011/2/7/focus/8013901&sec=focus

Poor fellas...must have been really traumatic. Bottom line is when in another country, be prepared to fend for yourself.

its nothing unusual lah. The bolehlander embassy/consulate/diplomatic corp is one fo the MOST chekai, illiterate, non-english speaking (let alone other lingo), self serving kaki bodeks to higher ups, lazy buggers if u ask me.

The Malaysian consulate in songkla is of no real help to us when I retrieved a fellow biker's body from the Krabi mortuary...they cannot even advise us properly on the documentation needed to have the body hearsed back to port klang! AND the galls of the officer in Songkla, to even demand rm50.00 for staying back after 4.15pm to 'assist'... My second biggest disappointment was the deceased family refused to lodge a complaint with wisma putra, inspite of my strong insistence...this is the typical Bo-chup siau attitude!

The greatest help came from , yes, the thai biking community. The Phuket bikers rode down to krabi to help, the krabi bikers assisted more than anything else...the hatyai bikers helped with body prepping and hearse to hearse transfer...ONLY the bikers help each other.

The malaysian consulate in songkla? F them! Oh., btw, we were even allowed into our own Embassy/consulate groudns after 4.15pm to take a pee! We went ahead and PEEd at the roadside right infront of the malysian gate...and guess what else, whiel waiting for the 'processing' we picked up 'for yr eyes only' whole document detailing their prepping for vip luncvh with this and thqat vip...all kaki bodeks and their lunches PLUS get this a whole list of smuggled cars, model, makes , ownership eytcetc...and also a letter written to the thai bar council to ask for assistance to a bolehlander in jail in bangkok! All malaysian wisma putra idiots at work!

Anyway, there were more problems at the BKT border...and even the cops there said the consulate people are all kaki bodeks! If u r a plain Ali, Ah kow, Achee then expect no help from the wisma putra idiots!

Truly a refelction of 1Malaysia traffic light system at work. Red - stop , Yellow - ready to go, Green - Free to go. What colors are you depends of who you are and who you know.
One up close and personal friend of Apanama - Ex UMW , Ex Perwaja way back in 90's then tried to do it with the Malaysia Boleh in true spirit and got in real action of Kena Tendang by the US custom officers. Unfortunately, he couldnt fight back, as he was no Jacky Chan. He was just merely Jack Chia.
Anyway, it is not surprising where the other countries consulate would sprung into action to find and assist those missing in action while Malaysians citizen abroad would have to look high and low to contact thier lifeline in the trouble foreign land.

Not surprising given the culture of rewarding based on skin color rather than merit. Dealt withthe msian embassy during process of renouncing citizenship and truly aghast at the
level of english and service level.

If I am not mistaken, ex Vice President Al Gore was held up in Canada during the 9/11 crisis.
Everyone is treated with same standard proceedures as long as you are holding the same blue US passport irrespective whether you are black or white or simply yellow or true red Indians.
Any accidents or incidents requiring the help of the US embassy, they sent guys to assist you in times of trouble whether it is after9 or 5 if you are the citizen.

I differ here. If i wanna give up my bolehland citizenship, I'd damn well be speaking Hokkien or tongue or swahili, to those bodeking-fools at the counter. Why would I even bother about whether the fool understand or not? Why bother with niceties when dealing with idiots who are bodohsombong?

However, a citizen should be able to speak, write the national language. No excuse here. Malaysia has a nat lingo called bahasa malaysia. All those living and holding a malaysia citizenship should be able to speaketh bahasa melayu or malaysia (same same lah!)... English is NOT our national lingo.

My bitch is those 'serving - gaji buta' in the bolehlander's embassy/consulate around the world:
1. DO NOT willingly help plain bolehlander Ali, Ah Kow, Achee in time of need, let alone trouble
2. are buncha myopic monolingo small village illiterates, with half past 6 qualifications, and only know how to bodek and ampoo YOUR so-called 'vvip/vip' visitors from bolehland! Kaki Bodeks all of em!
3.. should u by carelessness lose yr passport overseas, u gotta know & then throw a name of yet another VVVVIP to get any help!

Dude - I think you were referring to the late Eric Chia la... Jack Chia is another fler la... not related to Perwaja or Eric Chia :p

On another note: I remember (very well) one so-called VIP who tried to throw his weight on arrival in Perth or arrival - kena BARKED kaw kaw by the Australian Immigration... man, if only they allowed cameras in that area - I would have filmed the look and reaction of that guy... The IS a God after all... afterall - he made the operating crew's life into PERTH - a total nightmare!!

Moral of the story? Dont get mad! Its bad for ye health. Get even, its more fun and also revenge is best served cold.

This Mean Chef knows to cookand sometimes post some far away landed stories but dun wanna to be accused of cooking some stories, otherwise I might get a CNY banana angpow for not able to substantiate the claims he was handcuffed and led into the VVIP holding room pending further investigationjs and legal proccedures. ;) :) ;)
BTW, that was no ordinary Chia - he was Tan Sri with xyz, pdm, mas, sdu title. Jangan main main.

I don't understand this phrase 'It was most unfortunate that our holiday ended abruptly but we didn’t expect it to end with such a bad taste in our mouths – caused by our own people.' by this Premah. Is she Egyptian by ethnic?

What does she expect? Red carpet treatment? In our bolehland unless you are royalty, bee end politicians she cannot expect any special service unless there are photo opportunities for those helping. Otherwise you are on your own. These embassies are stuffed by polishers of the highest degree but they do not polish ordinary people's crystal balls.

Eleven thousand Malaysians in Egypt reported by Bernama (http://www.bernama.com/bernama/v5/newsindex.php?id=563059) - not a small number.

If it cost RM 1,000 per person, thats 11,000,000.00 for the evacuation.
That's a cool RM 11 million. :D

Off topic but sure as hell, raises your eyebrows!!!

Ya - also makes you also think on HOW MUCH the Govt spends... sponsoring more than 3/4 of these students studies over there... Where or who - do you think the money comes from????

And this is only for Egypt ~ what about other places/countries... Do you know that for post graduate studies - some of them, not only get scholarships but also full sponsorship, for the whole family (husband or wife AND kids) to follow these 'students'

They will probably mark it up by 20 times and some people will get rich from this 'evacuation'.

After 30 years in power... and he finally yields power to the millitary (http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=hLCFiFrpArE&vq=medium).

To most people this seems a time to celebrate. But, beneath it might be something troubling brewing... and a contagion effect might sweep the African Continent first triggered by what happened in Tunisia...

The worst part is they are not fit to be there.
And even worse is they have the privileges to re-sit for exam if fail, semester after semester.

This is NOTHING NEW AT ALL. It has been going on for more than 3 decades.

I recalled I received job applications from these “graduates” who studied from Japan, US, Turkey, Egypt, etc.

It is really an eye opener to look at the unique courses they studied, the results of their studies and the command of English in their written application.

Mubarak in life/death state in Germany hospital

Quote:
"We have learned through foreign sources that Hosni Mubarak was flown this morning to a Baden hospital in Germany after falling into a coma."

True or just A Rumor?...

This news was broken by the Examiner :D , however it is being carried by Al Gore's Current TV, as well :) Read Here (http://current.com/news/92987319_mubarak-in-life-death-state-in-germany-hospital.htm)

Though not be rude to this one time great leader  ....it may even be a engineered 'face and money saving' exercise, considering the theory behind....Why It Took 18 Days For Him To Leave....

Are they not bright enough? I don’t think so. They are just lack of right attitude.

Personally, I believe these students are not committed in their study, neither they are responsible scholars nor they have the perseverance. After graduate, are they ready and commit to contribute, changes are unlikely. Why? Simply they are allowed to have delinquent attitude since young.

Not bright enough ! Yes, a BIG YES if compare with others who applied for overseas scholarships but rejected for obvious reason.

This is exactly what I mean – they are not fit to be there academically.

Sad but true fact.. and I am one of the victim (just like millions of others over the 3 decades) of this distorted and discriminated policy....
