Yeah, the Americans still think their cars are better than those made in Germany (Mercedes, BMW, VW and Audi), Japan, UK and the rest of the world... unbelievable! Read their choice of the 10 best cars of the decade HERE! (http://autos.yahoo.com/articles/autos_content_landing_pages/1644/10-best-cars-of-the-past-decade/)

Only an American would consider American's car experts, sorry, auto experts.
They drive in straight lines on the highway or round in circles on a race "track" :D Hardly a means to decide if a car is decent or not.

Pity me, i once had a US spec 5 series BMW, i have no idea where the brakes came from, but do know the gearbox was from a Chevy truck with a life expectancy of 75K maximum miles.

As for the Suburban (no puking smiley available
Big country
Big people
Big cars
Big mac
Too much cream leather trim

But I really don't mind if I can get my hands on the right-hand drive Ford Mustang, Hillary, just for the heck of it. Maybe its the "urge" inside me to floor the accelerator and spin some wheels... but I have always suspected even this dream car of mine, ie the Msutang, would lose out by a mile in terms of handling to the German cars - the best automakers in my personal opinion. Since the days of Volkswagen Beetle making its debut until today, I think the Germans have always been the best - with Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Opel and Audi... the Japs have been ahead on economical engines and reliability... but nothing beats the Germans in 'total car' ie handling and quality..... :D
