You can try giving son the brands berry( for eyes) daily for next 3 months and see if helps. My colleague swears it work. Not cheap though rm22 for 6 small bottles.

Cheaper will be kei chi and chrysanthenum tea, careful bout sugar.

My son went to this ISEC (International Specialist Eye Centre) , Centrepoint South, The Boulevard, Mid Valley City, Dr Choong Yee Fong (tel : 2284 8989). His eyes keep on blinking problem which due to allergic, but he is fine now. However, there are few specialists for you to choose. For my experience, this will not be long queue as in Tun Hussein Oon Hospital.

My son has been complaining of eye pain lately. Took him to an opthalmologist and she suspected allergy. It went off but came back. Took him to another opthalmologist and was told that his eyes are long-sighted. Thus had an experienced child optometrist determined if he needed spectacles. Anyway was told that reading is NOT good for children's eyes :( Since my son's eyes are long-sighted, then reading is good. But reading too much causes short-sighted or if you are already short-sighted, the power will increase. So parents do take note.

Dear All,

Bro,
I have pm the details of a ophthalmologist in Sunway Medical Center. I sent my mum there for various minor and major eye operations since 2003.

May I suggest :

1st step, find an eye specialist nearby (SJ/Sunway) for investigative diagnosis… Normally, patient needs to go back to the doctor for frequent follow-up (weekly or twice a month). It is better to find a good eye specialist nearby..

Once the cause of the problem is clearly identified and the diagnosis is correct and show good improvement, then maybe can explore other/government eye clinic..

DO NOT start/try those herbs or other non-prescribed method as those are good as supplementary only.. Getting the eye specialist advice and consultation is the only correct way.

From my experience just a few months ago I would advise against Tun Hussein Onn Eye Hospital. I know they have a number of doctors there and maybe it was just my bad luck but the doctor I got gave me a wrong diagnosis.

I would recommend International Specialist Eye Centre (ISEC) at Level 8, Centrepoint South, The Boulevard, Mid Valley City. Ask for Dr. Wong or Dr. Lim.

Dr Harekrisnan in 4th floor THOnn. A v senior eye doc, in his sixties. Was told by fren (only after my 2 visits) that dr Harekrisnan is a no nonsense, ill tempered, arrogant, lsly doc...
I found him the complete opposite :D

Maybe bcos i also went in with 2 loaded 6shooters blazing. 1 shooter on the other i-quack from pantai hosp. and reminded every1 within earshot, that a man with bad eyesight is a desperate man. And desperately blind man can do many damaging things

My 2nd shooter, I gave dr Harekrisnan & the PR asst manager a hard time on the optowhateevr (ground floor) who conducts eye-test (read XGSREQYUNB) thingy on the wall...cos they made many people (ahead of my Q number) waited up, for a long time while, we all can see the optowhateever sat at the counter recommending which this lah that lah specs frame is prettier for a vain-pot aunty

I told the pr asst manager to go engage a cosmetic salesgirl to make the fashionable frames recommendation, while the optowachamacllit, go do what they are trained to do! i.e. eye test!

Anyway, ignoramus and micky mouse patients do tend to get bullied even by private facilities...Go with eyes buka beso beso:D

Yang Ada Blur visi TIU xlatotupai:cool:
