For a moment, I thought they going to name it Bunga Raya team. With the millions spent since last year, to justify F1 as a means to promote tourism instead of maintaining school and transport facilities...well, same Olde Malaysia Boleh Belok Kanan Kiri atau Gostan. :p :p :p

Anyone can update me who is leading. Tony Fernandez's team or Richard Branson's team? It would be fun to see either one to dress as air stewardess.

SingTel Singapore F1 GP is a success, and put Singapore in the same class like Monaco in the GP map.

I like to watch F1 and I know a fair bit of this sport. As a F1 fan, I always prefer to watch F1 in the race track, not street circuit.

Yesterday race was boring, one of the worst so far in this year. It is difficult to see good overtaking maneuvers in the tight and bumpy corners, and the long straight is too short for faster car to show their superior straight-line speed.

As correctly mentioned by the Ferrari team principal, they won the Singapore GP on Saturday night qualifying when Alonso took the pole with a marginal 0.2 second ahead of Red Bull Sebastian Vettel. The race on Sunday night is a long tail of cars from start to finish, with 2 safety cars intervention in between.

I beg to differ, Sagamihara-san. The Singapore race was exciting, tight corners and difficulty in overtaking are all part and parcel of the F1 race. I would say the races in Sepang are more boring, everything just narrrows down to power and reliability... not much outmanouvering by each other and tactically "crashing" out opponents like what Vettel did to Hamilton last nite, macam ni lah baru ada shiok sikit, tyres flying, sparks and drivers throwing away the Rm2 million steering wheel in anger....

That is why one of my favourite races in the F1 racing has always been Melbourne and Monaco and at one time also Nurburgring... always end up with less than 14 cars finishing, itu lah shiok! :D

I guess nobody told Webber and Kubica that you cannot overtake in Singapore?

Well, everyone has their favorite tracks. I like Spa, Monza, Silverstone and Suzuka.

Remember Suzuka 2005, Kimi Raikonen started from the last grid (rain in qualifying spoiled his pole) and he overtook Renaultís Giancarlo Fishella in the FINAL lap is my classic race.

I donít like Sepang too and all the new FI tracks design by Hermann Tilke Ė Sepang, Shanghai, Sakhir and Istanbul. Still like those old tracks in Europe.

Btw, the steering wheel is around 40,000 pound, which is more costly than a 5 Series beamer in UK.

Eversince Mika Hakkinen's car caught fire 2/3 lap to the finish line a couple of years back, I have never watched one race at Sepang... used to get free grandstand tickets from Marlboro or Petronas but now tell them don't send to me please...

And this was the most terrific moment for me, when Hakkinen out-foxed Schumacher at The Spa...

actually, Lotus Racing is the highest placed new team eventhough they are still scoreless.. They have outperformed HRT and Virgin in most of the races, finishing higher than the other 2 teams.

see here:
http://www.formula1.com/results/team/

The new ruling on no refueling is making the race more boring as there's less variation in pit strategies. However, it does prompt the teams to have a more fuel efficient engine to use the least fuel possible for the race.

They should consider using diesel engines for F1... hehe.. Like in the LeMans where the TDi audis and peugeot dominated the past few years...
