Force 136 - what the history books are saying...

Anggota Force 136 Menentang Jepun.

British membentuk Force 136 apabila kalah kepada Jepun semasa Perang Dunia Kedua.

Ditubuhkan untuk menentang Jepun secara sulit di Tanah Melayu.

Ciri ciri Force 136 :
a. Markasnya terletak di Sri Lanka dan India
b. Anggota Force 136 terdiri daripada pemuda dan pemudi Melayu
c. Diberi latihan dan senjata untuk menentang Jepun
d. Bertindak mengumpulkan sukarelawan tempatan menentang Jepun
e. Bertanggungjawab membangkitkan semangat penduduk Tanah Melayu menentang Jepun

These are the exerpt from my daughters' PKSR Kajian Tempatan Book...

I have checked a few of her other revision books and am wondering if history is conveniently being changed as to the ommisson of the MPAJA resistance force which was the core of the Force 136? Is the omission due to the fact that the MPAJA was actually members of the MCP?

Isn't it a fact the malayan chinese bore the brunt of the Japanese Imperial Army cruelties and was one of the reasons as to why they became the core of Force 136?

Sad to see how history is subtly being changed! :(

Although it is true that Force 136 had malays, but history especially malaysian history has to realize that there were many F136s under SOE.

MCP under MPAJA was an alliance for F136 and its majority was chinese and remaining mainly British, malays and others.

The Malay group that faught under F136 was called Tigers of Malaya of Force 136 (Harimau Malaya Force 136) But there were many turmoil in it, where some strong japanese supporters present.

Then, there were also F136 all over South East Asia, as well.

dude... I am not disputing the facts that there were Malay fighters that fought the Japanese Imperial Army... but why the omission about the Malayan chinese fighters in the Malayan front... :(

As stated in 3 revision books..."Anggota Force 136 terdiri daripada pemuda dan pemudi Melayu"

Should have better if it was written as "pemuda dan pemudi berbilang bangsa di Tanah Melayu" no?

Hang Tuah, Hang Jebat and company were yanked off the history book and now the 136? Guess what? It is historical or maybe horrifical truth where non malays are yanked off from the never ending story where nothing was done to what Malaysia is to what it is today.
