Yes..very thoughtful company..for sure. :( :( :(
RM900.00   At first I thought I saw wrongly. I guess if the towkay belanja his clients for a meal, it may be more than NINE HUNDRED Ringgit not to include Karoke after dinner!! Furthermore, RM900.00 divided by 40 families which is RM22.50 per family. I am not too sure what RM22.50 for each family...by the way, if the family goes for a meal at KFC, I am not too sure is RM22.50 suffcient ??
Sorry.. I may be overwhelmed by anger. I thought a GIANT timber company should be able to pay more than the figures.

Actually, i was wrong to give a half baked info. The actual info as reported by The Star is RM700 by a giant timber company and RM200 by another giant timber to about 500 Penans after being logging millions of resource from the area where they reside. So, even KFC is aint going to be enough to feed them for dinner. http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2010/8/11/nation/6833303&sec=nation

I didn’t want to boast here, my MONTHLY contribution to Singapore Children Society is almost equivalent to the ONE TIME OFF amount by these GIANT companies given to the Penan families. …Hoping this is a reflection for the bosses of the GIANT Timber companies. :( :( :(

RM22.50 per family. Assuming 1 family 4 members, so 1 fella gets RM5.63. OK. Should be enough to buy one "chap fan" in SS2 minus the drink.

I've full of thoughts, good thoughts, BUT just don't have the financial capability, or else BY GOD I'd donate generously.

Nah.. your thoughts already put to words speak a lot of truth. Thats what that matters, despite banana threats or banana splits.

Finally, There's relief aid is done for them.
I guess its only media exposure that does have a great effect...otherwise those poor souls would be in sufference.
