View Full Version : Hi Jeff, you seem very lonely

not a very active forum here I must say.
I see your name on almost every thread.
This is because the crowd was all stuck in the traffic jam and no energy to post :D ;)
BTW, this is normal as the year end holiday coming and everyone are taking leave for holiday, away from the computer for a while (that has been a silent partner since the beginning of the year ).
The response will come back after the school term starts for a week and the normal routine kicks in again.
No worries, usj.com.my is still alive and serving a larger crowd nowadays.:D :)

Yes, it's very lonely here... Please come in often to keep company... ;)
Rain or shine in the last three years, my team and I are ploughing this barren land of e-Community.
personally, I make it a point to scan online stories three times a day, one b4 heading to office, one over lunch break, another before packing up from office.
Quite tedious, but it would be a disservice to the community if the website becomes a spider-web with no updates.
Traditionally over the last three years, traffic is low over December-January period. Holidays, festive seasons. Subang Jaya is a middle-class haven, so they say.
Probably, the IRC will have higher activity. But the chatters talk about different things there. We are different breed I suppose.
It's heartening to note, nonetheless, for every message/story posted, there are still silent souls who read the musings. This is captured under "Views" if look at the index page.
A 'trivial' case of khalwat involving Tun Ghafar's 2nd wife, for example, may attract 700+ views, but a serious topic like cloning of human being attract much less.
But you will be amazed how many views we attract for our usjXpress Team reports. Your jaws will drop. Mine did.
This website we just let it grow organically.
If there's no audience, then we tutup kedai aje lah. :D
