View Full Version : Traffic Nightmare coming back ?

Noticed that several roads in USJ and Subang Jaya has been widen to 3 lanes and some roads has been re-surfaced, including the Federal Highway. (I just can't stop thinking, election is COMING!!!)

With the school reopens today, I am surprise to see that the usual jammed road are clear today, at least around 8.00 am to 8.30 am. Is it because most of the parents taking leave to bring their kids to school or the spell has finally being broken by the road work?

But the road was unusually jam on Friday, the day of registration. I took double the time to get into FH, and obviously, late for work.

I am praying hard that tomorrow, the second day of school, the road will be like today, and everyone will be happy - keeping my finger crossed.

Do you think so?

I was on leave sleeping through it all on the first day of school! My neighbour told me that it was a mad jam around 6:50am on the USJ road leading to Lick Hung.

Don't hold your breadth, the jams WILL be back to normal come 6:45am on Tuesday morning.

Well, all good things will have to come to an end.

Seems that you are right! This morning came out from house at 8.00 am and the road is all the way jammed.

Later found out that it is not because of the school, but two small little accident on the road side that cause all these!

We have a lot of KPC in USJ and Subang Jaya lah!!

Federal Highway is still very free and smooth this morning, as opposed to the regular jam ...

I left at 7:15 am and decided to head past Lick Hung school on the way to the Federal Highway and thence to Damasara.

Got stuck for half an hour before I reached the Fed. Highway intersection. There were no accidents, just a lot of cars. Surprisingly, after NKVE, Damansara was free-flow.

Got stuck in ss19/6 area during yesterday's lunch hour. Still on holiday mood I guess, since I didn't remember to not drive there around 1-2pm. I had to squeeze between cars near McDonalds. Parents and/or patrons who parked there really add to the jam.

I wonder how can two schools be built side-by-side?? The roads can't cope with the traffic. And there's no waiting area for parents to pick up their kids.

Along Persiaran Tujuan from USJ4 out toward SS19, the traffic light at the Shell station / school (USJ4), wanting to turn right, but when the lights turn green, some idiot Metrobus is blocking the way. The whole bus blocking the entire road. By the time the bus crossed and cleared the path, our lights turned red again.

Metrobus drivers are the most kiasu of their kind...

Seems that the normal traffic jams are resumed after the school reopens. Life has come back to a new start....!
