View Full Version : Help Needed Fore Wifi
I hope someone can help me with this. I have a secure (I think that's the term used) wifi (streamyx) using an Aztech adsl 4 port router. I know that for another wifi device to connect to my router, I have to go in to some site, key in the admin password and enter whatever, whatever (that's how blur I am) so that the new device (in my case a notebook) can connect.
Will this kind someone please be patient enough to list down the procedure in the simplest step by step guide for me? I would be ever so grateful :D

1) Make sure you have enable the Wi-fi on your notebook. If yes, normally you can see a small PC on the right hand bottom(next to clock). It will say "Wireless Network Not Connected"
2) Double-click on that. It should show you the available wireless network in your vicinity.
3) Choose your personal XXX network (by the Aztech)
4) Type in the WEP code
5) Now the small PC logo should say you are connected to XXX.
6) If it work, fine. If not, maybe you have to change your IP address.

The problem is I need to know how to configure the router to allow my notebook access.
Thanks
