It is official that to live to be 101, not recommended in the soda or cola drinks. Instead, it recommended wine and Banana.
It also mentioned good nutritious food like oatmeal and yet never recommended MSG probably because MSG tends to cause overweight which is a big NO if you wanna to hit 101 ;) . http://health.yahoo.net/articles/aging/how-live-be-101

Seems like nobody is interested to get the exilir of life from Banana Plantation Manager to live until 101. Ask and it shalt be given, Seek and ye shalt find, Knock with name calling to slander, getting personal to stalking, Hijacking to Bashing, and it shall be opened with plentiful banana of life or it is for life  :D

http://www.webmd.com/heart-disease/news/20020930/heres-twist-red-wine-bad-for-heart

Then this guy says bananas are bad.

I am confused and worried.

101? 103? 110?
Its not the number of years lah...It the quality of the years!

Who wanna be 110yrs old? Imaging yr Mind is active, body is msgfree, eyes glaucoma'd, knees wobbling, legs rockin'&rollin, hands arthritis'd, skin asaggin', you are wearing XXL pampers, all ye friends are already partying upstairs and downstairs, All 'em eye candies&hotties parading and ye mind is willing but the flesh ...oops! where's the flesh? :p

here's a scenario: imaging me & Chef Zing shouting into each other's ear for audibility :D :D

Betcha Zing gonna be handshaking up the wrong dish for me...but my greatest fear would be, he spilling the hot plate on me while serving!
I mean seriously, scalding on century old skin might take up to a few years to heal and a few more years for new skin to grow!!!!

AHHHHHH!!!!! Let me outta here!!!!!!!

Tai Ko Patrick looks like HK famed actor Patrick Tsin and I know his secret. WINE! Each Time he comes here he had the a bottle of wine encased with a velvet covered wrapped. I got a lift of life each time he gave me a tiny wezzy sip of the wine. ;) ;)

101 seems very long to me. Don't be afraid your life will end; be afraid that it will never begin.

If you retire at 55, u will be labelled as a social parasite for the next 46 years. If it costs RM10,000 a year to maintain you, you will feed off RM460,000 of your children's money. Add your spouse.. that works out to be a little under RM 1 million. I'm sure by now, ur children would be thinking about all the wonderful things they could have done with that RM 1 million..!

Are you sure it is not the other way round. The longer you live the less you will leave for them!. That's what a dear friend of mine tells his two children. Whatever he has left will be theirs but they should not have designs on his money at the present time. Thats also the reason why some children are afraid that their single parents would look for new partners and cut them off their inheritance as if they have earned the right to it by virtue of their birth right.

Be healthy and reasonable wealthy and we shall enjoy our lives. Otherwise it is a cruel world out there. That's what i don't feel comfortable about Spore. You have so many old people serving the young one. Check out McD & Kopitiam.

With the exception of medical expenses our daily physical and material needs normally tend to decrease. We eat less and simpler to keep healthy and need less stuff in our lives.

65 to 75 enough already lah... like Tupai say, if you can only watch and cannot participate, what for? You read the mag and its shows you a brand new 600 bhp Ferrari, you have the dough but you can't drive it, whats the point... What burden your loved ones? Give them all the money and just go peacefully lah... 110? I still want to sip my Coke once a while...

Hehehe... its not all the time what one may wish may come true. It can be ironic if the more one insists on NOT living so long, the longer one may live on.
Perhaps there's some truth that bigger sinners lead a longer life and the goodie ones simply may go off in a blink of the eye. Don't wish too much lah.. only the Almighty knows when your time is up. The SUREST and ONLY guarantee in life is that you'd die one day.

And to add ... and an unwelcomed visit from the tax guy from Inland Revenue ... before or after you are dead :p :p

No lah, not that bad..

Its medical bills (private hospitals) that follow after one is gone will disrupt the heartbeat, maybe stop the heart, cardiac arrest for others who's likely footing the bill. They may even charge you for treating fainting!
Could I assume that life may be a misery for the very old in this land? I dread this.
