WHo gave them jobs? Who build roads, school, water and electricities facilities. And they are so ungrateful that they voted the Goverment out. The outburst by Chin of East Malaysia. It is high time people change their anti-establishment attitude, recognise the good the Government had done for them and show their gratitude during election time.

another idiot on the loose.

hello chin, read my lips:
The government of the day is to provide the very necessities that you have described. IT IS NOT to hold onto to absolute power forever and brand the rakyak as 'ungrateful' simply when the rakyak are fed up of the massive mismanagement, lies and corruption widely practised by the ruling politicians!

IDIOT!

Yang Benggang latotupai

Mr. Chin, perhaps a new government is able to serve the rakyat better than the present one. Is it wrong for the rakyat to choose to have a better government? Please do not be so katak di bawah tempurung. Open up your eyes and see the world with an open mind and heart. Lose lose already lah, don't blame others for your own failure.

I really don't think this kind of scolding to voters ever happens in Western and more civilized countries. Actually our politicans and governance have given back little to the rakyat over 53 years and the bloomin politicians HAVE NO RIGHT to scold anyone in any respect!
Any politician who goes around doing that should be canned! WHo the hell they think they are and voters owe them ah?... NO WAY!
Yes..this sort of thing now happen here.. What else can be new?.. just about anything!

Why are we all angry at what this Minister Peter Chin is saying, we should let him say it out loud and clear and infuriate the Sarawakians... afterall when these voters get infuriated and insulted, it will be good for us in the coming Sarawak State Elections, let the party drums roll... already several popular Sarawakian blogs I visit regularly are alreadyb blowing their tops... :D

Yes, I do understand that anything one side does to infuriate voters can be of some mileage to one side. Thats besides the point.
Its RUDE, ARROGANT and UNBECOMING to scold voters for any reason relative to a loss in an election.

The transport Minister was then Dato Lee San Choon, Presidente of MCA.

It was the same for the voters/supporters of the late Tan Chee Khoon in Kepong and also Seremban voters (of Dr Chen Man Hin - DAP).

They not only insult but they deny basic rights of the people!

If Chin Chai and Semi Value would to use thier own pocket monies to build schools and roads, may B the voters can be considered ungrateful for not voting for them....but then again, in the eyes of democracy, it would be ungrateful, if the voters do not come out and vote. ;)

This is the question that i would like to ask him. Who gave you your 23 million ringgit mansion, who gave you all the porsche cayennes that you are driving around or the multi million divorce settlements. Where do all these money come from? From the sky ? He has to be grateful to the rakyat for voting them in and enriching themselves like there is no tomorrow

Many Malaysians, especially those that have been supporting their victorious parties for 53 years, have purposely forgotten that a political party is different from a government.

Due to half a century of wearing blinds, these people have become confused between these two terms. Most of the time, they use the two terms very, very liberally and interchangeably. Because of the long time, they equate govt=their political party.

Another thing, they tend to forget is that since they have run the govt for so long, anyone who oppose them are called The Opposition. They get confused when they are now the opposition in a few states.

That is why you have the way way minister who got angry when people complain about the roads. Complain - and I wont build the roads for you.
But the people did complained the ultimate way - he was voted out.
