Reported in the Sun today by R Nadeswaran that the President of MPSJ Datuk Adnan Md Ikhsan has official secuirty for his private home in Shah Alarm, all paid for by rate payers. A four wheel MPSJ vehicle is parked outside his house. Apparently the MPSJ full board has not endorsed the security for his house, There is a picture of his house in Jalan Rabung in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam. The picture speaks a million words.

Semua cakap di usj.com.my sangat kuat tapi bila YDP dapat 24-hour security paid by the ratepayers summore at Bukit Jelutong, not in Subang Jaya, semua diam diam aje... I like usj residents lah. :D

Did the Damn Councillors approved it? if yes, meaning they knew about it ( Rajiv, any comments???? )....

The bloody hell if the councillors knew about it... When ratepayers don't pay their quit rent - the énforcement fellas are quick in decorating the front door with the yellow bands (seals). Seriously la... this is obviously abuse of position... Double standards!!!

Now you know why these s***heads don't want to bloody implement LOCAL ELECTIONS...

The news report indicated that MPSJ Full Board did not approve of this, and that means councillors did not approve. It's public knowledge that this YDP along with the other YDPs in the other councils are all BN appointees. It's time to remove the YDP and install someone new!

Thats why I believe this land consist of "democracy my FooT". This country is run with dictatorial and authoritative powers. Just add elements of corruption, power abuse and laziness which spells a rogue country no better than some African countries. On top of it..lying to the whole world that this is still heaven. As I said..Vision whatever is some figment of someone's imagination with empty platitudes.
Until and when someone or the media finds out, bring to light these kind of events that people know how bad it is. Like yesterday's program on TV3 "Aduan Rakyat" the Cameron Highlands continue to be raped by the acre. The land office, RISDA heads all tidur kah?... Cameron Highlands is one road up though and through... BUTA KAH!
1Malaysia PM... Pahang is your home..and you didn't know? 20 years time...NO MORE CAMERON HIGHLANDS but CAMERON BOTAKLANDS.

What is wrong in providing him this privilege? I sokong this. At least he now has no reason to fear for his safety should he make a an unpopular decision. Come on lah. You guys can afford to pay for stupid community jaga but shout and scream when our YDP is provided with this security guard. Same argument. Why don't you object when your company provide car and driver to your CEO. He can take a taxi loh. He can afford to drive his own car mah. You must understand all this come as a perk. I want my YDP to live in style and not pariah.

A CEO earns his keep... that is probably INCLUDED in his contract. If he doesn't perform - he get booted, his perks disappears too.

YDP? is that included in his ??? If he wants security - let him pay for it (from his OWN POCKET!)... like his ratepayers...

If he makes an unpopular decision and then is afraid of his safety - then get the polis to protect him la... cannot take the heat, then ask for transfer to head IWK instead... Why use ratepayers monies...

As for the STUPID community jaga... ya, right  stupid...
because of those selfless ones that are willing to pay for some form of safety, allows for the rest of the community to live in relative safety and peace of mind...

If a council president do not even have the trust of security of the area / community he lives in and requires a 24-hour security with a fully-dedicated truck parked right in front of his home, then how can the rest of the ratepayers have confidence?

Hey Apek, why kind of dumb excuse comparing the privilege of 24-hour security to a company-assigned car? It not comparable at all lah. Most company cars are part privilege ie part of perks, lets face it, and partly as a tool-of-trade. Its expected a CEO should get such privileges.

Where in the annals of the council books did they say that a council president will have such perks as a 24-hour security in front of his house?

p.s. maseh bodek nak jadi Councillor kah keh keh keh...

Its definitely WRONG, if he used Assessment Money or Tax Money to pay for his house security. He can live with STYLE using his own money, but don't used ppl money. I presumed any primary school children can comprehend this simple logic :p :p :p

apparently, security detail is supposed to be provided for the 'official residence' of the YDP - but the 'official residence' for the MPSJ YDP was sold off a few years ago.

Of course, now one wonders why it was sold, how it was sold, and to whom it was sold (and for how much).

Not to mention - one wonders how the forumers & ratepayers would feel if the YDP actually had an 'official residence' (with or without security)

Cheers, m

Silence from the Council and the Councillors on this issue first brought up more than a week ago - is deafening!

They really think it will just go away by itself.
