An SMS that was sent from one Maxis number to another Maxis number at 2.14pm arrives only at 6.35pm (4 hours late)
SMS Messages sent overseas are never received, but you get charged accordingly.
A mobile phone call goes into messaging when the person you are calling is seated just next to you and not using the phone. So you have to call and retrieve your message.
These instances are happening everyday over and over again. What's going on with our Telcos????
I understand that some of our Telcos have changed to cheap CHINA made servers which have a limited capacity and on days when the volume of calls and SMSs exceed the limit, they are just "dropped" the main thing here is that you are still charged.
This never happened with the telcos before so What's going on?
We now have to make a call to confirm an important SMS that we sent??? this is so stupid.
These telcos are advertising all sorts of special services broadband etc..., but the basic, SMS and Voice calls are ignored and left to rot.
They should have their telco licenses suspended.

The sms said the free call will be reflect on the next bill, that means not the same bill your birthday fall on. Try and check again.

What is an important issue to most subscribers that anyone still receives spam, scams and unsolicited sms's. What the shyte are those telcos doing about it? And what is the lame MCMC doing about it?.. LAME! as I see it...whilst the telcos are making hay whilst the sun shines!
Recently I EMAILED my telco about it...NOTHING forthcoming nor replied!
Thats MALAYSIA FOR YOU!

So many years since the telco went digital from the days of the analog and was promised all the security and speed and etc etc. We are still having all the same problems. Nothing's new.

...........
Yang Boikot maxis in 2007 latotupai :p
And it is not only Maxis that is doing it, as far as I know Digi also changed to the China made servers.
These telco companies seem so slick!!! sending out reminders direct to our Mobile Phones, like:
"Your Maxis online billed dated 21/05/2010 is ready for viewing. Please log on to www.maxis.com.my and select View/Pay your Bills Online"
and also the numerous Maxis rewards SMSs
imagine that they are sending these to every Maxis user, it only helps to clog up the already lousy SMS system.
I have used mobile numbers from around the region and I have never encountered missed mobile calls and missing SMSs sent.
This can only happen in Bolehland.
I am very sure that the Telco authorities are well aware of this, but they will probably say:
If we shut them down, many users will suffer, so we let them improve slowly, nothing much we can do about it.

The thing I don't like about Maxis is that every now and then you have to call up and remind them that you do not want to be in on their SMS SPAM list - got me pissed esp when these jokers sms about their SALES, products, services and games at wee hours in the morning and we panic thinking it might be an emergency and woke up from bed

I am a real blur jelly fish** as far as digital device is concerned, by choice.
I recall I spent less than rm200 for the pass 10 years in buying headphones. All my phones were either gift from telcos or banks.
I resist and anti all the blue, black or red berry. Come on, if you don’t need to be so busy, don’t be so busy answering junk mail, sms and call from friend or company during quality time.
And I REALLY REALLY fail to understand how people can surf the net thru a screen smaller than 2” x 2” , amazing !!!
** don’t play play with jelly fish, even though blur blur but full of poison…..

Oh well...there's just as many people who'd think owning a fancy state of the art cellphone for status or be held high in regard....blardi lonsense!.. earn peanuts but phone more expensive than one or two months salary.
Gaya mesti mahu...thats all!
Use your phone ONLY when neccesary and wisely...you won't have to incur silly high phone bills. The savings can be used for a great makan outside instead.
I often ask myself. WHy the heck should I allow telcos to be wealthier at my expense?..especially by sending silly, unproductive or unbeneficial sms's out?
I often take advantage of 3 free sms's (to same provider prefix) at my account website.

maxis didnt get my fren's co account...some 100+lines! HAHAHHA! Stupid fool in maxis cant see beyond the 1 r 2 regular complaints, that can and will lead to a bizz proposition! Blur Sotong indeed! :D
My fren's co 016 to 016 all freelah, methink with a minimum commitment of monthly RMdunno. So far, my fren no hav complaint, unlike when last time with the maxis peep.
my personal experience last last time, on unsolicited maxis self-promo sms?
I chewed the head off the 2nd most VIP of Maxis, in a family's Xmas party. Very MALU for both of us, when it dawned on me, that I was loud, abusive and insulted my sis' guest! HAHHAHAH! But it worked! I was very quickly off the maxis spam. But eventually I also gave up on maxis lah...too stressful for my frail heart and my blood got no pleasure. :p Cest la vie.
