Are you working in a warehouse as a key user for Warehouse management System? (Any brand will do, infor, RedPrairie, etc), we are looking for you.

Below are the job functions:

- The successful candidate will lead all phases of project management life cycle including requirements definition, design specification, development and testing and production release.
- Meeting with clients to determine requirements, to define the scope of project;
- Planning timescales and the resources needed;
- Clarifying a client's system specifications, understanding their work practices and the nature of their business;
- Travelling to customer sites, at the time being, within Malaysia, in the future, Thailand might be involved.
- Liaising with staff at all levels of a client organisation; (good communication skills)
- Defining software, hardware and network requirements;
- Analysing IT requirements within companies and giving independent and objective advice on the use of IT;
- Developing agreed solutions and implementing new systems;
- Presenting solutions in written or oral reports;
- Helping clients with change-management activities;
- Project managing the design and implementation of preferred solutions;
Purchasing systems where appropriate;
- Designing, testing, installing and monitoring new systems;
- Preparing documentation and presenting progress reports to customers; Organizing training for users and other consultants;
- Being involved in sales and support and, where appropriate, maintaining contact with client organizations;
- Identifying potential clients and building and maintaining contacts.
- Provide technical assistance in identifying and evaluating automated systems and related procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirement
- Coordinate test plans and programming activities
- Work with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs and recommend changes to the automated systems, 3-4 years of progressively responsible experience developing business applications
- Testing and issue resolution for custom software projects.
- Good knowledge of RDBMS concepts, SQL Server 2000/2005
- Must have experience in writing Stored Procedure, Triggers and Functions
- WMS experience is a must.*

* To assist the software development team in application development activities.
* Deliver application development according to specifications and requirements.
* Work with fellow programmers to integrate related applications.
* Perform first level testing after coding and document the test result.


* Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Computer science/Information Technology or equivalent.
* Junior positions: 1-2 years working experience in software development.
* Hands-on development experience with Java, VB, ASP .Net, MS Studio development environment with MYSQL Server, Oracle DB (PL/SQL) as backend database.
* Be involved in the whole software lifecycle (R&D, designing, developing, debugging, testing, deployment and maintenance) of existing and new solutions.
* Excellent communication skills. Ability to work at all levels of the organization.
