Sad to learn that the Indonesian girl who serves drinks at the food stall in SS15 market was driven off by car thief that stole her lady boss car at SS14 on last Sun. The lady boss was delivering some 'fatt koh' (kuih) to customer in SS14 at 6-ish morning when this happen. The lady boss fought the Indian guy who tried to grab her car and she sufferred a head injury and now being hospitalized. The Indonesian woman was in the car and the robber took off with her. Till today, she is still not found or yet to return.

This Indonesian woman is has a pleasant personality.Being a regular customer there, I have known her for over 2 years. Her boss trust her to run the drink stall alone. A very reliable staff. She can always remember her customers' usual drinks. Hope that the car thief will let her off without any bodily harm. Please help to pray for her safety and may the police be able to find her asap.

Any news of the Indonesian lady yet? She's been in my thoughts and prayers since I read your post. And has her employer been discharged from the hospital? Recovering well?
My apologies if I seem to be treating you as the conduit for updates.

Hi lhct,

Thanks for the prayers for this lady.

Sorry, I don't have the latest update as I haven't been to the stall since my last report. I have been praying for her safe return too. Will try to go there tomorrow if possible.

Dear LHCT,

Glad to inform you that the Indonesian girl was released on the same day. I met her this morning and she related the incident to me. Sorry for the earlier info that I posted was inaccurate as it was gotten from her employer's relative.

After the robbers got hold of the car, they drove away. They stopped somewhere to throw away the kuihs in the car. This lady tried to escape. She was slapped and punched by the robber. The Indonesian lady was released at Federal Highway. She was smart to take a cab back to her employer's house. She is still feel scared after the incident. It's a blessing she was not hurt.
