My car parked inside the car porch was broken in yesterday night. It was so happened that my wallet was left inside the drawer and the car was not locked. All the cash inside the wallet (less than 100) was stolen, but the wallet, ic, credit cards were not taken away. The smart tag together with touch n go card (remaining balance 120+) were also stolen.. early morning woke up, saw one of the car door didn;t closed properly, didn't notice the theft until could not find the smart tag.

Please make sure you make a Polis Report at Balai Polis USJ.

Mine was just diagonally opposite the Honda CRV's owner house.

Please advice the procedures to make police report.
By the way, i think i have already spoilt some of the evidence like thumbprint.

Just curious, how on earth they know your car was not locked? Don't tell me the thief climb into each and every house to check? Sounds like it is done by someone has been observing all houses. Is there any suspicious people hanging around or just move in to the neighbourhood recently?

I think the thief may be doing just that. I normally do not lock my car door as well... old car with nothing valuable inside. But twice I have found my car door not closed properly in the mornings and the glove compartment open and the ash tray (normally to keep coins) not in its place.

Was quite sure that they climbed from gate, can see white colour thumb print in the car. Was also curious how they know my car not locked, and so happen that I left my wallet inside the drawer yesterday night, forgotten to take out! A small box of candy was taken away, but a box with 24 packets of yeo's drink at the back of the car was not taken, probably too heavy!
A house at the other side is not occupied.

Please call Chief Inspector ASP Tuan Loi at 012-4118843 and explain to him what happened. Just inform him that Robert of SJ Alert asked you to call him for help to make a report.

Think residents should be on red alert now. Please check your car and door is properly locked. You can't fully relied on others when come to own safely and security. :)

Please make the necessary Polis Reports so that the Polis can monitor the crime trend and arrange for the appropriate action to stop these criminals.

Do not take the easy way out by "forgetting about it", cause these criminals will become bolder with each crime.

Was your car also unlocked? Just wondering, perhaps they just go around and open car doors, if it is unlocked, they just take whatever they can get their hands on... :( They can get quite a bundle this way, plus sun glasses, smart tags, gps etc..

Oh... so I was right, they just go night walking and target any car that's not locked and take all the valuable stuff out.

Lets make a call to all residents to lock cars, gates, set alarms, on porch lights before they go to sleep... Simple way to get rid of these pesky thieves.

Another possible deterrant is to add a sensor light at the porch area.

Unfortunately No.... :( It's gotten worse since USJ 4/4 area gated their area. The thieves are lurking into other easier to enter areas.

These are petty thefts who only steal minor things like these.

Please note that kids from the nearby residential school do come around sometimes and they could be petty thefts committed by these ppl.

Take note of these ppl who come in small groups, and scout around at odd hours.. I have seen some of them around...

all these Gated and Guarded community has just help to create more gangsters. Now all of us have to pay "PROTECTION MONEY" in order to be safe. For those who does not pay, are now being harrased day and night.

If you feel that you are being harassed day and night by gangsters for so called "protection money" please make sure you call the Polis for help.

The next time these people come around, just ask them to wait and contact the Polis immediately.

Oops, came home from Singapore (visited Universal Studios with my family) and found that I had been sent to the infamous "plantation". Wow, no win situation because when others whack me and I answer back- I also kena banana and sent to plantation. So the name of the game is "keep silent" like a stone?

Anyway, did you all read the Letters to the Editor on Feb 21 and 22 in the Star? Feb 21 is headlined "Safety move or hidden agenda behind the gates".
Oh, sorry I forgot, most of you only yak yak on this forum and don't read newspapers.

Anyway, Feb 21 is a Sunday and the average daily readership in the Star is 1.2 million as compared to how many here in the forum....10, 100 or maybe 1,000?

You see, many people out there (not just me) are so unhappy with the FnG that they even take the time to write letters to the editor. Today's Star also has two big articles on the FnG problems in another housing scheme.

When my kids asked me how come the ostrich is burying its head in the ground (at Sentosa Island), I said- look no further...

This is what I have been trying to warn all along- read up all my comments - especially the first few (but I am now the famous old broken record player)...Yes, we are like living under the big eyes of big brother. Better for the bad hats to receive legitimate security guard fees than breaking into houses eh?
Imagine nearly 3,000 houses in USJ2 x RM50 a month. Big money.
Someone even warned me: "You can hurt yourself!" on this forum. Hurt myself? You mean indirectly someone is going to hurt me? This is like gangster talk.
No time to entertain you guys. I've eaten enough bananas and seen your kind of plantation.
Cheers!

I am curious. Then why have you been in this forum screeching like an injured hyena?

Fansu, are you trying to spring another trap again by using those kind of words that you seem to know only? Then I get another banana for arguing? Keep the bananas coming because I have seen the true colours of this forum.

I was kind enough to educate people like you but it looks like your command of the English vocab are mainly words like "imbecile, screeching and hyenas".

Unless you may not have realised it, I know you are an ardent support of your ADUN. I have read all your postings and have formed an outline of your character.

You may unwittingly be the cause of your ADUN losing the next general election because of your incorrigible rudeness.

I am sure that by now, everyone is aware that SCCheah is against the blocking of roads in Neighbourhoods, so there is no real need to continue to populate threads that have nothing to do with that subject, with that view point.

Let's all agree to disagree and leave it at that.
