Dear all,
Please keep the konsert/karnival area clean of rubbish
Please DO NOT throw rubbish at the konsert and karnival. Please bring your own favourite drink in duarable bottle and reduce using plastic bottle. If you have to plastic bottle, please bring home the plastic bottle and recycle it by dropping at various recycling bins/centres around SJ/USJ.
Please do not throw the plastice bottles as rubbish. It takes 1,000 years for plastic to biodegrade. It also cause toxins to pollute our rivers and finally end up as drinking water in our homes!
Please enjoy the konsert/karnival and protect the environment too.
Please do not make the konsert/karnival area a rubbish dumping ground. Alam flora has to clean up the rubbish after the event. It means that residents have to pay more next year to collect rubbish without you realising it.
Please do not to others what you do not want others to do to you.
Thank you
robertec

Subject: CNY EXTRAVAGANZA THIS WEEKEND IN SUBANG JAYA
Dear friends,
You're all invited to come! Pls forward this to all your friends from DUN Subang Jaya. Hope to see you there!
CNY Extravaganza
Fireworks display, charity booth sales and concert to be main highlight of Subang Jaya
FOR the first time in many years, Subang Jaya will celebrate its own Chinese New Year Carnival and Concert this coming Sunday (February 21).
The evening-long celebration is expected to be full of exciting events, performances by the community as well as renowned artistes who are sure to jazz things up at the Subang Jaya Municipal Council Sports Complex in USJ5.
Lion dance performances, a charity booth sale, beat boxing, line dancing performance and many more will build the momentum up to the finale.
Residents can expect a 5-minute fireworks display put together by Sime Darby Property.
Malaysian sensation Juwita Suwito and our very own "Elvis Presley" HT Long will make a special appearance to set the mood in motion. Juwita herself will perform two English numbers and three CNY songs. Get sent back into yesteryears of Elvis by HT Long with his renditions of "Love Me Tender".
A charity booth sale will start off the evening at 6pm. The proceeds of the rental of the space during the charity booth sale will be donated to the Children's Wish Society of Malaysia.
The official launch of the CNY event will kick off at 7.30pm.
Make a date for the evening. Come early and soak in the many events lined up to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
Entrance is free for everyone.
If you wish to book a spot at the charity booth sale, call Subang Parade at 03-5032 9778.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SJ Alert will also have a counter to register new members.
You can also collect your SJ Alert Deputy Stickers at this time. - Robert
