Anyone can share how much to order a pair of glasses for the following prescription. I need to arm with basic info so that the salesman will not rob me in daylight.

Right eye:
sphere: -0.25
cylinder: -1.00

left eye:
sphere: -3.00
cylinder: -0.75

I got this prescription from a qualified eye surgeon. I supposed the sphere shows the short-sightedness and the cylinder astigmatism?

I have my own frame. Just want a lens which is light (probably high index?) and has good quality anti-reflective coating.

Any idea how much I should expect the charge from the optical shop? Any recommended shop?

go to i-optic at ss19

if u already hv your own frame n precription, it is straight-forward.
just ask to buy the lenses n ask them to fit it on , takes an hr if they hv the lenses in stock or the next day at the most if they don't hv the lenses in stock.

will cost u around rm50 +/-

Anything, you may want to go for multi coated, too, in addition to high index but that will cost a bit more.

Another shop is VMAx Optometry (Taipan) opposite SIn Kong restaurant, that is the one my family and I used. Prices as in your case, not so sure but we found that it has been pretty reasonable.

Maybe u like to try this eyes specialist, i already visit their place for more than 10 years. The person in-charge is David Chow.

You can bring your own frame there. Usually he will check your eyes again to makesure the degree of short-sightness is accurates.
